September 4th - Day 15

"A little to the left." Soobin says as you help guide the set piece onto the frame. Jongho stands at the top of the ladder, securing the top in place. "Heck yeah! I think that was our last one for the day." Soobin cheers, high-fiving you slickly. You stand back, proud of what you've all made. It took a lot of effort and some much-needed painting help from Jean-Pierre, but you made a throne room of sorts. San and Wooyoung hop back up onto the main stage, bickering about something.

"It's the stupid warehouse door." San mutters. "He's getting to be obsessive again." He flashes a concerned look at you, and you sigh.

"Woo, you don't have to get it open. Believe me, I've tried." Yeonjun says, putting a hand on Wooyoung's shoulder.

"You just don't get it, do you? What if something important is in that warehouse? What if–" Before Wooyoung can finish his protest, Mr. Choi walks out from backstage. You all look at one another, concerned looks gracing your faces.

"I have to say, I agree with your friends. You're being a bit too obsessive. If you must know, I keep my supplies in there. It's mostly extra furniture and roof shingles." Mr. Choi says. His smile curves the scabbed streaks on his cheeks. "Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt."

"It's fine. We were just about to run lines." Hongjoong mentions.

"I have a bit of a change in plans for all of you." He says, clapping his hands together. "While I appreciate all your hard work on the play, it has come to my attention that you might not be using the time you spend outside of rehearsal productively." Well, that can't be good. "So, this brings me to a few announcements. First off, Hongjoong and Yeosang. The two of you are going to be joining my council. I feel as though we might need a fresh perspective, and let's be honest, out of everyone here, you'd be best suited to these positions. Second, Jongho, you'll be joining me in the evenings for our game. I miss it, and I'd like to practice with you some more. I will beat you eventually, I'm sure of it. Third, Shortie, Seonghwa, San, and Wooyoung, the four of you will now be participating in my crafts class." Wooyoung groans, and you think you might have heard Mingi even cheer. He does remember that those old ladies are criminals, right? "Fourth, Yunho and my children will be in Narae's class as per her request. And last but not least, oh yeah, that's right, Mingi, you will be in Yoko's class. She requested you as well."

"No way." Mingi exhales, smiling like an idiot.

"Bath and dinners are also now mandatory. I'll be making sure that you are all in attendance. And Yoko will report to me about the girls. From what I've heard, she's not likely to let you skip." Mr. Choi looks satisfied, resting a hand on one of the sets. "You all are fitting in well here. I hope you are still enjoying your stay." With that, he smiles, disappearing back into the depths of the theater.

"Well, that'll make things harder." Wooyoung grumbles.

"We'll be fine." Hongjoong reassures. You seal some open paint cans before starting on your trek to the back to get everything put away before crafts. Jeez, this thing's heavy. You lug the paint can above you, trying to get it on one of the shelves. Before it swings back, a hand catches it, pushing it forward onto the shelf. You look to see Seonghwa already grabbing at the next can before you're able.

"Thanks." You say, glad that you've been spared another injury. He just looks at you, smiling. "What?"

"I'll have to switch it up since we basically just got put on lockdown, but would you wanna hang out again if we can sneak out?" He asks. Here we go again. "We've been doing so much, I thought we should stop and celebrate. I mean, we're like really doing this now. It's all coming together."
