It was supposed to be an average day, or at least average in terms of something that was constantly thriving with both the living and the dead. Averie was assigned to the two tours scheduled for the day, which was nothing compared to a busy day. It wasn't unusual for people to rent out the building for private tours and investigations of their own, it had happened more in recent months. Influencers coming to see the horrors of The Hill House for themselves, wanting to prove to someone that what they were experiencing was real.
See Averie never had any doubts about the world beyond that of the living, his sister Ivelle had always been connected with the other side, making growing up a believer basically a part of who he was.

Making sure to tell stories in a way that would draw them in rather than push them out. Since the majority of the group were regulars, the questions were easy enough for him to answer on his own. The silence alone caused the hairs on Averie's arms to stand, even the buzz in the air was different. Something was itching the back of Averie's brain as he tried to make up an excuse as to why the energy could be so off, he came up empty handed. It was like an itch under the skin that couldn't be relieved no matter how hard you scratched. He'd have to check with Ivelle when she arrived, but that wouldn't be for another couple of hours..
