ATHENA, UNLIKE HER SIBLINGS, WOULD SIT IN THE WOODS AND HUM TO HERSELF WHILE READING SHAKESPEARE. She preferred quiet—peace, tranquility, calmness, silence, harmony. That was more her than the chaos in her house.

Athena found solace in the woods, away from the clamor of her family. She wandered through the dense trees, her long jet black hair blending with the shadows as she sought the peaceful embrace of nature.

The whispers of the wind and the rustling of leaves were a symphony that comforted her restless soul.

As she walked deeper into the woods, a sense of unease tugged at her senses. Athena paused, her keen vampire instincts on high alert. Something was amiss, disrupting the natural harmony she craved. She moved silently, her golden eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of danger.

A faint rustle nearby caught her attention, and Athena tensed, ready to face whatever threat lurked in the shadows. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of movement—a flash of fur and glinting eyes.

Before she could react, a massive wolf lunged out from the undergrowth, its jaws snapping dangerously close to Athena's face.

Her hand instinctively went out, the tips of her fingers glowing red with an otherworldly power that she used to gently nudge the wolf back, "Hey, wolfy," she murmured quietly, obviously not expecting a reply, "I know—Treaty Line. I'm on my side."

The wolf's eyes widened in surprise as Athena spoke, a hint of intelligence gleaming in its gaze before it unexpectedly locked eyes with the vampire in front of it.

The wolf's gaze held a strange intensity, as if it were trying to convey a message to Athena. She felt a flicker of recognition deep within her, a sense of ancient connection that transcended their current forms. For a moment, time seemed to stand still as they stared at each other, two beings from different worlds brought together by fate.

"Bye, wolfy," Athena slowly lowered her hand, the glowing energy dissipating as a silent understanding passed between her and the wolf. Without breaking eye contact, the wolf let out a low growl before turning and disappearing into the shadows of the forest.

As the adrenaline of the encounter ebbed away, Athena stood alone in the quiet of the woods, her mind swirling with questions and possibilities. The encounter had stirred something dormant within her, a feeling she couldn't quite name but one that beckoned her to explore further.

Athena turned back towards the direction of her family's home. She knew that this chance encounter wasn't random, but something that could potentially alter the course of her existence in ways she couldn't yet comprehend. The wolf's eyes haunted her, their silent communication leaving an indelible mark on her supernatural senses.

As she arrived back at the grand mansion nestled in the heart of the forest, Athena's thoughts were consumed by the enigmatic encounter. She found herself wandering through the halls, her steps guided by an unspoken pull towards the library—her sanctuary within the opulent home.

The library was a haven of knowledge and solitude for Athena, its shelves lined with tomes that held centuries of wisdom and secrets. She moved with purpose to a particular section, feeling drawn to a leather-bound book with faded symbols etched on its cover.

Meanwhile over on La Push Beach, Sam and Jared—two of three of the Quileute Wolf Pack—were playfully tossing a Volleyball back and forth when Paul came running out of the forest, his expression urgent.

His brothers immediately sobered up, recognizing the gravity in Paul's demeanor, "What's wrong?" Sam demanded, his alpha instincts kicking in as he faced Paul.

Paul took a moment to catch his breath before blurting out, "Have either of you ever like.....stared at somebody and you just see flashes of you and that person together? Like....in the future? It's like.....a feeling. Like something pulling me towards someone, except I don't know who or why," His words tumbled out in a rush, betraying his inner turmoil.
