TAE POV

It was all going so well, I mean me and Jungkook were hanging out almost everyday. We got to know each other more. I got to know a lot about him and his family. They also treated me like family. I was happy and nothing could change.

Until this...

𝕋𝕙𝕣𝕖𝕖 𝕨𝕖𝕖𝕜𝕤 𝕒𝕘𝕠

Jungkook was on his boat again. I could see from afar. He brought his ukulele again and started playing the same song again. I got up on the rock and waited until Jungkook reached me. Once he finally did, he brought me a towel and clothes. Nothing special just a regular shirt and shorts since it's hot. I got ready, hop on his boat and paddle our way back to shore.

"How ya doing?" He asked paddle from side to side.

"Good, except my parents are being jerks again." I told him. My parents woke me up to do training. It's something I hate doing since i had never wanted to rule the ocean. I know it's my parents job and passion to get to rule the sea but I don't want to live in the sea, I want to live out here. The beach is where I want to stay. I don't wanna live underwater from the rest of my life.

"Sorry to hear that." Jungkook replied. We finally made it to shore. I let my feet touch the warm sand. It felt so nice. Jungkook wrap his boat to a rope.

We both walked over to the restaurant again. I saw more people this time, some sitting at the bar stand, other at the tables, others just standing wait for their food. I saw Jin there. He waved to me. Jungkook and I followed to his direction.

"Hey Hyung." I told. He waved at me. His feet on the counter on his phone. He looked so unbothered.

"Jin! Could you always try to help me in the kitchen?" Namjoon yelled. He was all covers in sweat on his forehead. His eyes went to mine.

"Oh hey Taehyung." He said. I waved at him. His face went to Jin which became a mad smile.

"Namjoon, it's not different to cook fish tacos!" Jin said getting. Up from his seat and walking into the kitchen. Fish tacos?

"You guys are making fish tacos?" Both of them nodded. "It's for the beach party we are hosting." Jin said and turned his attention back on Namjoon.

I forgot about the beach party thing. It would be fun to go than again I'll have to be careful about my surroundings. It won't just maybe be a few people, it could be the whole world there. I have to be far away from water. It's not safe for me.

"You gonna go with us Tae?" Jungkook dad asked sneaking behind us. He leads on the counter with is beer bottle. Must be the good kind he always drinks. All their faces looked at me. I didn't know how to respond.

"I don't know. " I replied. All of them showed a confused expression.

"Why? Are you busy?" Jungkook dad asked taken a sip. I shook my head. I mean it would be fun but it would risk my chances at becoming a mermaid in public. I shouldn't go to be safe.

"No but I-"

"So we'll see ya." Jin said, getting his feet off the counter and walking away. The others left right after that. I turned over to Jungkook. He grabbed my arm and led us to the back door.

I thought we were going to go into the house. "Take a seat." Jungkook said. He brought two chairs. I sat down. Jungkook sat next to me. His eyes met mine.

"Jungkook, I would love to go to the beach party with you but I can't risk getting wet. I mean I do really wanna go but I have to stay away from water and if I touch a drop of water who knows what could happen I mean I could be turned into a mermaid infront of everyone and I could be sold to a werid lab or get eaten or be called a freak or maybe I-" I kept rambling on and on until let all of my worries out. My breath got heavier. I look over to Jungkook. His gaze still on mine.
