After two hours of nonstop playing and laughing here and there, you check your phone. 14 missed calls from Jaemin.

You put your phone down and look at Soobin who was enjoying his time. You smile to yourself and put your headset back on, joining him in the game.

"Thanks for today Y/n, I really enjoyed it," Soobin tells you, smiling.

You were dreading walking into your house; it was pretty late, the lights were off, except for your sister's, and it was quiet.

"I'll see you later," you tell him, waving him goodbye.

You walk into your house; the lights were off, but the light from the TV was illuminating Jaemin.

"Where the hell were you? I called so many times," Jaemin began to scold in a whisper. "You just ran off with Soobin, almost like he's your boyfriend or something."

You sigh, "Jaem, he's leaving in 4 days, I just want to make his time here worth it."

Jaemin looks at you with a disappointed expression, "So you'd rather hang out with your friends than with me, I'm leaving too Y/n."

You sit down next to Jaemin, "You're leaving in 12 days, he's leaving in 4."

Jaemin scoffs, "He's not dying Y/n, you don't have to spend the whole time with him."

"I understand why you're mad, I would be too," you admit. "I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings and left you here alone, I don't know what I was thinking."

"I'm not so sure we're going to be okay apart like this Y/n, I can't keep my eyes on you, I can't protect you from Seoul," Jaemin sighs.

You look at Jaemin offended, "So what then? You want to break up?"

"I never said that, I'm just saying maybe you can just stay in Seoul," Jaemin tells you.

You shake your head, "Jaemin, this is my first time fully home, I want to stay here for now."

You stand up and leave Jaemin alone on the couch. You make your way to the bathroom and look in the mirror. You hear a light knock on the door and you open it, your sister.

"Are you okay?" she asks, sitting on the closed toilet lid. "I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I was in the kitchen when you got home."

"Maybe he's right, this won't work," you confess quietly.

Your sister looks at you with pity, "I think you guys should try this semi-long distance thing before you make up your mind, maybe the distance will help you guys."

After your talk with your sister and a shower, you go back downstairs. It's pretty late, but Jaemin is awake on his phone.

You sit down beside him and lean on him, "I'm sorry."

Jaemin puts his phone down and puts his arm around you, scooching you closer, "I'm sorry too."

"I shouldn't have left without telling you, I just want you to trust me, and what I did today wasn't right," you tell him, wrapping your arms around him.

"I shouldn't have doubted our relationship, I was just upset you were with him, I was jealous," he tells you, pressing a kiss on your lips.

You two lay down comfortably on the couch and watched TV, but you couldn't stay there.

You felt restless, like you needed to do something.

Jaemin eventually fell asleep, it was around 3 am, and you were seriously bored.

You grab your phone and go outside on the front door steps.

You see a shadow pass the front lawn, you didn't know who it was, and when they stopped in their tracks to look straight at you, you freaked.

"Y/n? Why are you still awake?" the voice asks, quietly.

You let out a sigh of relief and walk up to the boy, hitting him, "You fucking scared me, man."

Soobin lets out a gentle laugh, "You shouldn't be outside at this time, it's dangerous."

You lift one eyebrow and look at Soobin, "Says you." Soobin laughs and the two of you sit down on the edge of the road.

"I couldn't sleep," you admit, leaning your elbows on your knees.

"Same," he says, leaning back looking at the stars.

"Can I talk to you about something?" you begin, hesitantly.

Soobin sits back up properly to look at you, "I'm all ears."

"I don't think me and Jaemin will last if I stay here," you confess, almost in a whisper.
