Sreekanth was my microbiology professor and I was very fond of him. He used to tell jokes and his life experiences in class. It was very inspiring and enriching stories that he had attempted UPSC and he had got IAS but he left it due to stress and pressure from politicians and he had a huge interest in teaching.
He had studied BSc microbiology.

It was Sreekanth sir's birthday and it was a holiday as it was Sunday.
It was 6 AM in morning and I had got up at 5.30 AM for studying.
I suddenly remembered that it was Sreekanth sir's birthday and I wished him birthday wishes.

It was Monday and I had to go to college and you know I was studying dentistry and there were microbiology, prosthodontics and conservative dentistry classes.
At 8 AM it was microbiology class and Sreekanth sir had come in yellow shirt and we all knew yellow was his favourite colour .
I handed him a birthday card I had made for him and he was surprised as no one had made him birthday cards.
I bent down on his feet before him to get blessings and he said, " my blessing always with you, Roopa!"
