Kim's Corporation

Yoongi's POV

I still can't figure out what is going on right now. I was cautious about it but I still can't understand.

John is on the way to find Lee's things, but why would someone like Lee want something like this project?

I can't connect my internet to my Macbook. I segregated the emails we received from Lee's company.

Despite all this stress, I don't know what happened to Taehyung.

He has kept himself so busy that he didn't even take the time to meet me here in my office. It's not like I don't go there or something.

I usually go to his office, as it has much more privacy than mine. But I got so busy that I couldn't take out some time for him. Then I thought he would come to my office for our chit-chat, but he was nowhere to be seen.
Apart from official emails, he doesn't even text me back.

I am not a person who texts this much, but he made me send him two texts!!!!

Which is very rare in my case.

I think I should interrupt him today.

I decided to check the CCTV camera before I left for Taehyung's office. After making sure he was available there, I went there.

I entered with the files, even though I knew even my assistant could do it.

But I want a reason to get into it.

"Hyung," Taehyung said as he saw me.

Seems like I interrupt his thoughts.

That thought doesn't seem like a happy one to me.

"Yes, it's me. These are the files for Lee's collaboration project," I said, and sat on the couch and waited for Tae to come and sit because it was not our official place of ours to talk.

Taehyung signed, walked to me and sat right next to me

"Hyung, I was busy. I am sorry." Taehyung said. I think he already understood that I was not happy for him being aloof.

"By the way, Hyung, you should have sent your assistant for this," Tae chuckled.
I know he is mocking me. Because I am like this, it is hard for me to distinguish between my professional and personal relationship with Taehyung.

"I was taking this as an excuse," I said..

"I already got that when you sit here, Hyung," Tae said, and we laughed about it.

"So, what is the deal.!?" I asked. I hope he understands what I meant.

"I don't know if I am late or if is it the right time to say," Tae said. He seems confused and disoriented, seems like he is not even comfortable with that topic.

"I thought I was your brother, Tae. You can say anything. You being stressed is much more important than any projects we are dealing with at this moment." I tried to get into him.
I hope it worked.

"Mr. Lee approached Dad," he hushed.
"Mr. Kim!? But why.!? Come straight to the point, Tae" I asked.

"So here is the deal. They want me to get married to their daughter. And surprisingly, Dad was happy about it," he said in one breath.

Now this is insane.

Marriage.!?

"What did you say then!? Are you okay with that!?" I asked to ignore the uncertainty I am feeling at this moment.

"As you can see, I am mad-mad," he said.

"Marriage is a big thing, Tae. You can't make it a business deal and sign for it. By the way, how is the girl?" I don't wanna make it a motivational talk.
