Racing Royalty

Silverstone

Christina's POV:

I was getting  ready to go attend a royal engagement , my brother was supposed to go but he is in Germany for the Euro's to support England . So here i am going to Silverstone for  the GP of Formula one , i am supposed to give the trophy to the  winner 

Am i a F1 fan , yes i am and this is something who normally Shok people . Qualifying is today and i am invited to watch it at the paddock VIP hospitality 

I hope one of the 3 British driver get pole here in England but i am not going to lie , i have always been a Mclaren girl because it is English and my brother was with theme since Lewis Hamilton won the first time so this time i hope Lando get's pole 

i left the palace and as usual with a lot of guards . I hate it can't they let me live normally for god sake what on earth can happen at a Grand prix

 Since i was a little girl , i always dreamt of a Normal life away from royalty , all the rules and protocols , media ;  but as a royal we see our role as an obligation a duty that we have to do no matter what

Once i arrived on track , i got down the car and a lot of f1 fans where everywhere , i really loved it . i went to the F1 hospitality , spoke a bit with the people there and then the qualifications started . 

To my surprise , for the first time ever the 3first drivers where English : P1 was George Russel , P2 Lewis Hamilton and P3 Lando Norris 

i then went back to the palace and got some sleep before tomorrow's race

The next day , i went to track a bit early because i had to meet the drivers to wish them luck before the race . 

First , i went to the Mercedes garage to meet Lewis and Geroge 

Once i arrived ,  Lewis and George directly shook my hand 

Lewis: It is a pleasure to finally meet you your royal highness

George : Yeah it is i love your family thank you for all you do

Christina : Thank you soo much , the pleasure is mine , i just wanted to wish you luck before the race and make sure it is coming home 

Lewis : Of course  we will both try , Lando will too , wich one of us is first is not important what is is that a British driver be on the top step of the podium

Christina : Yes exactly well i will see you after the race on the podium , i still need to go talk to Lando 

I then shook there hand one last time and headed to the Mclaren Garage 

Once i arrived , i greeted Lando in the same way i did with George and Lewis but i had aa little more time to  discuss with Lando 

Chritina : So , how is the car , are you confident , i am quite an F1 fan myself , i watch every Grand Prix and i can see that you are very close to winning every time 

Lando : Oh really i definitely did not know this , i am feeling really confident , the car feels great and i think that with a good strategy we can definitely overtake George and Lewis easily

Christina : Well i really hope so but as i said to Geroge and Lewis the  most important is for a British driver to win whoever it is 

Lando : Yeah but with me it is a British Car as well ( he said laughing)

Chritina : Well i am not going  to lie , i have always had a soft spot for Mclaren 

Lando : Wow ,so not only the Princesses of The united  Kingdome watch F1 but she is a Papaya

Christina (laughing): yeah i Gusse i am . 

Lando : Well it is an Honour . i have to go get ready but i really hope your royal highness will give me a trophy today

Christina : i hope to (i said shaking his hand )

He then winked at me and left , i really hope no one saw that , what was he thinking he can't wink to a royal like that it is against the protocol , not that i care about that i am not going  to lie he is really attractive so his wink did not bother me personally

i than went back to the hospitality and proudly sang the National Anthem , i could feel a lot of camera's on me but i guesse it is part of the job 

The race started and George got out so now the only hope was Lando or Lewis . They kept overtaking each other every 2 laps until the end . Lando finished P1

i was really happy , i felt an bit sad for Lewis but we have to let some other drivers win 

We heard the National Anthem a second time and i was so happy for Lando he looked so proud , it was great seeing him Celebrating 

It was then time to go and give Lando his trophy so i walked out of the room next to the podium and handed it to him he looked so happy and shook my hand telling me thank you

After the Podium Celebrations , i went again to congratulate Lando and Lewis and i had to go speak to George ,  he did not deserve a water technical issue , i also had to give them an invitation from my farther the king himself , for diner at Buckingham palace to celebrate

after that i went back to the palace
