I woke up to find myself snuggled against Hyunjin, his body warm and comforting against mine. My hand had somehow found its way to his hair, and I couldn't help but gently play with the silky strands. Hyunjin's deep raven, long hair were slightly tousled from sleep, falling across his face in a way that made him look even more endearing. I smiled to myself, unable to resist the urge to run my fingers through it, feeling the softness and marveling at how fluffy it felt.
Hyunjin, still half-asleep, let out a soft noise and burrowed deeper into me, his face nuzzling against my neck. I could feel his breath, warm and steady, against my skin, and the calming scent of his shampoo filled my senses. It was a soothing mix of sweet coconut and berries something uniquely Hyunjin. I didn't mind at all-in fact, I found myself enjoying the intimacy of the moment, feeling an overwhelming sense of contentment.
I reluctantly reached for my phone with my free hand, ordering breakfast for us through room service. I knew we needed to eat and start our day, but I couldn't bring myself to disturb the peaceful cocoon he had created beside me . As I waited for the order to be confirmed, I checked in on our team, scrolling through emails and updates. I glanced at the reports from our IT department, knowing how meticulous Hyunjin was about his work. Despite his playful and sometimes careless exterior, he took his responsibilities seriously and hated making mistakes.
I continued to sift through the updates, my fingers absentmindedly kept playing with Hyunjin's hair. It was a small, comforting gesture that I found myself reluctant to stop. Hyunjin's presence was a grounding force, and I reveled in the quiet moments of affection we shared.
Finally, I set my phone down and allowed myself to fully embrace the moment. Hyunjin stirred slightly, his eyes fluttering open as he looked up at me with a sleepy smile. I couldn't help but smile back, feeling a warmth spread through my chest.
"Good morning," I whispered, softly.
"Morning," he mumbled, snuggling closer.
I held him tighter, not wanting the moment to end. For now, everything else could wait.
Hyunjin continued to snuggle into my neck, I couldn't resist the urge to tease him a bit. "You know, if you snuggle any closer, you might just become a part of me," I said with a playful grin.
Hyunjin let out a soft groan, burying his face deeper into my neck. "You're so annoying, Minho," he mumbled, his voice muffled.
I chuckled, still playing with his hair. "Come on, sleepyhead. It's time to get up. We've got a day ahead of us, remember?"
With a reluctant sigh, Hyunjin slowly pulled away and sat up, rubbing his eyes. He gave me a half-hearted glare, but there was a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Fine, but you owe me for waking me up so early," he grumbled.
He stood up and, to my surprise, started pulling off his t-shirt right in front of me. His broad back came into view, muscles rippling with the movement. My eyes couldn't help but travel down to his narrow waist and the way his pants hung low on his hips. He tossed the shirt aside and ran a hand through his messy hair, which only made him look more effortlessly handsome.
