Elsewhere, Stolas is still running after his daughter
Stolas: Octavia?
Octavia: (off-screen) Just leave me alone!
Stolas: Octavia!
Octavia runs into a building called the "Fun House." Inside, Stolas is confronted with a a surreal room of eyes, tubes, spikes, mirrors, and disembodied hands. He goes further into the room, looking around for where his daughter could have gone. A shadow appears behind Stolas, as a random Imp jumps upon his back
Stolas: [annoyed] Umm, I think I'm supposed to be bodyguarded right now!
The Imp covers Stolas' mouth with his shirt sleeve, but is suddenly shot in the head and falls to the ground. Moxxie, Millie and Alex appear in the entryway, Alex having just shot the Imp with a pistol
Stolas: [wipes imp blood off of sleeve, annoyed] Ugh, that's better. Where is Blitzy? He's my knight in shining armor, not you littler ones.
Millie: He's, uhhhh... busy.
Moxxie: Being a fool.
Stolas: What kind of fool?
Alex: The "everything is now on fire" kind.
Disinterested, Stolas leaves the imps and hellcat, effortlessly dodging between two swinging pendulums, and heads down a tunnel into an adjoining room. There, he sees Octavia riding in circles in apple-themed rail cars, crying
But before he could call her, he was cut off by Alex
Alex: Hold on, your majesty. Let me talk to her
Stolas: But I-
Alex: Just trust me...
Alex approached her and sat beside her while leaning on the apple rail car
Alex: Hey, Octavia. You seem a bit down. Everything alright?
Octavia: [sighs] Just the usual family drama. My parents can't stop fighting
Alex: Yeah, I heard things have been pretty rough at home. Do you want to talk about it?
Octavia: [looks away] I don't know... It's just... Dad's always caught up with his own stuff, and Mom, well, she's just angry all the time. Especially after what happened with your boss
Alex: Yeah, that sounds tough. It can't be easy being stuck in the middle of all that
Octavia: It isn't. Sometimes I feel like neither of them really cares about how I feel. They're so focused on their own problems
Alex: I get it. But you know, sometimes parents get so wrapped up in their issues that they forget how it affects us. Have you tried talking to them about it?
Octavia: [sighs again] I have, but it doesn't change anything. Dad says he's sorry, but then he goes back to doing the same stuff. And Mom... she just yells more
Alex: I'm sorry, Octavia. That really sucks. But for what it's worth, your father's here for you. He has gotten out of his way to try and actually tried to make you smile
Octavia: [smiles] Thanks, Alex. It means a lot. Sometimes I just wish I could escape all of it, you know?
Alex chuckled with a hint of nostalgia plastered on his face
Alex: Yeah, I get that. Maybe we can find a way to make things a little easier for you. Even if it's just small things
Octavia: [smiles faintly] I'd like that. Thanks for listening.
Alex nodded and subtly gestures to Stolas to come out, Alex then patted his back and go back on guarding the exit. Stolas worded out a "thank you" and smiled at Alex, he gave Stolas a thumbs up and left the Father and Daughter to talk
