Alarms suddenly started blaring, red lights going off in the building "kaiju!?" Soshiro smirks "well, you can forget about sleep now, c'mon, it's your first mission"

"Are you ready? It's time for kaiju neutralization." Soshiro announces. I was sitting right next to Kikoru "I can't lie, I'm feeling way too excited than I should be"
"Eh?" Kikoru says, dumbfounded. Suddenly, she starts shouting "VICE CAPTAIN! KAFKA'S ABOUT TO BARF" My eyes widened.
"S..SORRY. I was nervous and overate.." An irk mark appears on Soshiro's forehead "Normally, you wouldn't be able to eat!!" I turn to Kikoru and bury my head in her neck.
She reaches for my head and pats it "why does it always feel like I have to take care of you when you're the older one?" she states as she sighs
I lift my head up and smile at her "because you love me too much" she sighs again and smile back "I guess that's true"

"No matter how well you performed at the training grounds, that won't save a single life. Show your power in the the battlefield, babychicks."
Soshiro smiles and held up his hands that formed a V. You quickly take your phone out and snap a picture of him, perfectly aligned with the honju behind him.

Soshiro heard the snap, he looks around and realizes that you took a pic of him. He approaches you and head chops you "50 push-ups for taking a picture of an officer without permission" he says while still smiling.
"Ehh? But you looked so adorable, I just had to take a pic." He sighs "fine, but you still have to do 50 push-ups in the training room when we get back"
You groan, but nodded. "I'm definitely sending this to Captain Mina"
"Area E, the invasion of kaijus has been confirmed. Troop members in this area, immediately make your way to Neutralize!"
"Let's go, Kikoru!" You yell, you jump off the building with the others with Kikoru beside you.
Both of you land down where all the other troop members were, immediately running with Kafka at the front.
Suddenly, Kafka gets flunged by a kaiju and gets thrown into a nearby garbage dump. "You're going too far up front, you're only 1% so stay further back!!" Kikoru yells at Kafka
"Sheesh, why do we have to babysit the newbies? At least observe from a distance where you won't get in the way."
An irk mark appear on your forehead "seriously..? underestimating us? I'll make you get eaten first, bitch" As if on cue, a kaiju appears behind him, ready to attack.
Kikoru immediately shoots at the kaiju, killing it with 2 bullets. "Ehhh? Why didn't you just let it eat him, Kikoru" you say, annoyed.
"We can't just let our weak seniors get killed, (Name). We might get punished for that" she says with a snicker, approaching me.
An irk mark ticks on Ikaruga's face.
"It's time to show off" I say with a smirk, she nods. "Mhm, let's show what these 'newbies' are capable of"
We immediately dash and land on a building's walls. Shooting kaijus left and right, none would survive a second when it comes into view.
This goes by for a few minutes, both of us in our own world as we kill more and more kaijus.
Both Kikoru and I suddenly come to a stop, hearing a large explosion going through the honju. We look up and see Captain Mina with a massive canon in her hand. Both of us stare at her, stunned.
She shoots exactly 4 bullets. 4 bullets and it was dead. The huge gigantic honju was killed so easily. "Could I ever get as powerful as her?"
"Alright everyone, It's time for the finale. Once we neutralize 'em, let's go home and have delicious breakfast." Soshiro says through the earpiece.
"You ready, Kikoru?" I ask, she was right next to me "Yes!" Both of us immediately split up, she heads right and I continue going left.
I see 3 yojus ligned up with each other, heading towards me "let's make this fun, shall we?" I use the scope of my gum, aiming it at the yoju at the front "Released Combat Power, 75%"
I pull the trigger, the bullet goes through the first yoju, then the second, and the third. All 3 of them killed with one bullet. I smirked "Maybe I do have potential to be a Captain"
"They make it so easy, is it even fighting at this point?" I flick my hair out of the way, it sways through the wind as I sigh. Well, there's more to go.
I continue running, bullet after bullet after bullet. No shots were missed, no yoju left alive. It was getting boring at this point.
I ended up reaching Area F, I see Ichikawa and Iharu approach a Kaiju Cleaner "What's that old man doing here? We're not even close to finished"
He looks back at the 2, I manage to get a view of his face, it was disgusting. Suddenly, it starts morphing into a disgusting humanoid kaiju.
My eyes widened, it was the kaiju I was fighting from the training grounds. The kaiju points it's finger at Iharu, my body moves on it's own as I push Iharu.
"Haitani!?" The bullet the kaiju shoots hits a nearby building, hurting no one, thankfully. "You guys should go, this one's really powerful, I can't risk you guys dying here."
"Oh? It's you. I thought I killed you" I heard him speak. I grit my teeth, irritated. "It's okay, I'll finally finish you off today."
