Nikos was in the hospital, anxiously waiting to hear from the doctors. It had been several hours since he arrived, and the anxiety was constantly in the red. Anna was sitting next to him, just as she had been since he was delivered to the doctors.
The room was filled with the sound of machines and the unsteady voices of the nurses. When a doctor finally approached, Nikos held his breath, waiting for the announcement.
"Nikos is seriously injured," the doctor said seriously. "He will fully recover time to."
Anna held back her tears and was still holding Nikos' hand tightly. It was clear that the road to recovery was long and difficult, but the most important thing was that he was alive.
Nikos closed in his thoughts, thinking about the future and the next moves he had to make. His concern for Alexis' baby was intense, as he knew his time was precious.
