The wind blew in her face and she balanced on the surfboard, a moment Aisha had yearned for a long time. She relished the warmth of the sun and the cooling spray of water as the big waves crashed around her. Each moment felt like a testament to their closeness, to the freedom that surged within her.

But deep inside, she couldn't help but miss Earth. Memories of California's golden shores, the way the waves kissed the beaches, tugged at her heart. She could almost smell the salty air and hear the laughter of surfers riding the waves alongside her.

Aisha glanced over her shoulder and saw Nabu, his smile brighter than the sun reflecting off the water. Clad in dark purple swimming trunks, he held his golden wand aloft, using its magic to tame and ride the waves. His presence was a comforting anchor amidst the ocean's wild dance.

A massive wave loomed ahead, and with a surge of adrenaline, Aisha extended her hands and leaped. In a graceful arc, the board flipped, and she reached out, catching Nabu's hands. As they embraced, pink morphix hearts swirled around them, weaving a delicate dance that mirrored the water's free-flowing beauty.

Their kiss was a tender connection, a meeting of souls amidst the roar of the ocean. When they landed on Aisha's board, the transition was seamless. Together, they rode the wave towards the beach, a perfect harmony of balance and motion. The surfboard carved through the water with ease, leaving a trail of sparkling foam in more morphix heart-shaped bubbles.

As they neared the shore, the water shallowed, and they stepped off the board, still holding hands. The golden sand was warm beneath their feet, a stark contrast to the cool embrace of the waves. They walked along the beach, the setting sun casting long shadows behind them, their laughter mingling with the sound of the surf.

Aisha leaned her head against Nabu's shoulder, feeling his steady heartbeat beneath her ear. "I'm so glad to be back and do this with you," she murmured, her voice filled with contentment.

Nabu squeezed her hand, his eyes reflecting the deep hues of the twilight sky. "Me too," he replied softly.

Aisha kissed him and whispered in his ear, "I love you."

They paused, watching the sun dip below the horizon, the sky painted in shades of orange, pink, and purple. This reminded her of those sunsets she watched with her friends on Earth, sharing laughter and stories. Despite the many stressful and challenging missions they've had, it had brought their group closer. She had thought that after becoming the Queen of Andros, she would still have time to spend with her friends. But after a while, she started realizing that would be impossible. There was just too much to do as a Queen. So, some action happening once in a while didn't bother her as much as she thought.

Aisha told Nabu about all the adventures on Earth and her favorite places. How she had adored the rugby sport she had been taught. She had been thinking of introducing that Earthly sport to Andros, creating her own version. "I think it could be a very interesting water sport," she mused, her eyes sparkling with the idea.

Nabu listened intently, his eyes never leaving her face. "That sounds amazing, Aisha," he said. "I can already see the Andros version of rugby becoming a huge hit."

Aisha smiled, feeling a warmth in her chest. "I think if I ever get the chance, I want to visit Earth again and explore more," she exhaled, taking in the fresh air. "But of course, to do it with you by my side."

"That would be lovely. You know, our experiences shape how we see the world. And sharing those experiences with you makes them all the more meaningful," Nabu said with a warm smile. "And no matter where you go, I'll follow you wherever the stream leads us both."

"Wherever it leads us both," Aisha repeated, smiling back. They stood in silence for a moment, their hands intertwined, feeling the gentle breeze as it wrapped around them like a comforting embrace. "I never imagined finding someone who understands me so completely. You're my partner in every sense."

Nabu kissed her forehead softly. "And you're mine. Together, we'll create memories that span worlds, whether we're riding the waves or ruling a kingdom. As long as we're together, every adventure will be perfect."

Musa sat by the dock, watching the pink water and the red moon reflecting on the surface. She hummed the rock ballad she had written with Annabelle and Madelyn, feeling a pang of longing for her friends. Their shared passion for music was a bond that transcended distance, and it felt as though they had opened a new gate of connection that she hadn't felt in a while.

From time to time, she stood by the coral reef and sent them messages through her small songs. Each message was meant to support their dreams and strengthen their resolve. It was fun to follow their journey from afar, watching as they grew and evolved.

The big pink whales answered her calls, adding their harmonies and lifting her spirits whenever she felt down. Being back on Melody was both relaxing and bittersweet, a poignant reminder of her mother. Sometimes she wrote music with her father, performing at various operas. She often helped Princess Galatea with composing music, their bond almost like that of sisters.

Musa took a deep breath and listened to the whales singing. It was like traveling back in time, to when she stood with her mother and father, watching the whales flip and sing, harmonizing and spreading joy. A small tear rolled down her cheek at the memories, and the song she often sang while walking by the beach alone played in her head. Sometimes, she stood there all night, crying until the ocean seemed to turn blue with her tears.

Suddenly, she felt a soft, caring hand gently wipe away her tear. She glanced behind her and heard someone singing in a low tone. It was Riven, with a guitar slung across his back. He was humming and singing in a whispering tone:

"My love will shine for you, like a ruby shining
I'll be right where you are, like a beacon for your heart
But the secret song you speak, is like a real treasure for me, an open part
In a beat, I'll always be your guiding.
"

Hearing his soft, tender voice made her tear up even more, but these were happy tears. His voice was as magical as she had always imagined his inner music to be, and hearing it aloud was a comfort. She relaxed as he wrapped his arms around her shoulders.

She told him about Earth and all the new song styles she had encountered and learned about. The experiences had inspired her immensely. Riven listened eagerly, his interest apparent as he squeezed her hand, showing her how proud he was.

"She would have been proud of you, Musa," Riven whispered, kissing her on the cheek.

Musa squeezed his hands gently and kissed him back. "I know... I-I just miss her a lot," she said with a sad smile. "And no magic could ever make her reappear."

"But that's why it's important to keep those good memories you have with her," Riven reminded her. "You've done so much already that she would have been so proud. Like an ocean of melody, she will always be inside of you no matter what."

"Thanks, Riv," she said, kissing him gently.

He turned her around and brought her to the edge of the dock. They sat down, her head resting on his shoulder as Riven plucked the strings of the guitar in a soft tone matching the slow waves. During the choruses, she joined him in singing. They shared a loving moment under the red moon until the sun began to rise between the big mountains. Musa felt lucky to be able to experience another day with those she still had in her life.

"One to one is the sweetest music. Walls are going down to our melody."

Riven's fingers danced over the guitar strings, each note having a lot of love behind them. They shared a tender kiss, the world around them fading into a blissful haze. The gentle sound of the waves, the whisper of the wind, and the distant calls of the pink whales created a serene backdrop for their intimate moment.

As the morning sun climbed higher, casting a warm glow over the dock, Musa and Riven continued to play and sing together. Their harmonies were perfect, reflecting her inner music perfectly well with his.

Musa strummed the final chord, letting the sound linger in the air. "To the sound of our melody," she whispered, her voice full of emotion, "it always sets my music free."

Riven echoed her sentiment, his voice a soft promise. "One to one is the sweetest music. Walls are going down to our melody."

She rested her head against his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart. It was a reminder that she wasn't alone, that she had someone who understood her, who would always be there for her. The sound of the whales singing, the gentle lapping of the waves, and Riven's soothing presence all blended into a symphony of peace.

They sat together in comfortable silence, watching the morning light painted the sky in hues of gold and pink, blending seamlessly with the still red glow of the moon. It was as if the Magical Universe was serenading them with a symphony of colors. The early morning air was cool, but the warmth of Riven's embrace kept her cozy. Musa closed her eyes, letting the music of the night and the love she felt envelop her completely.

"This moment is perfect," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "Thank you for being here with me."

Riven kissed the top of her head. "Anytime, Musa. Always."

Authors note:

Only one chapter left! I just have to find the inspiration for it since I'm working really hard on my own book at the moment. So, I usually sit down to write my fanfics whenever I have the motivation and time. Y'all, editing and writing a whole book consumes a lot of energy, lol. And I might have gotten hyperfixated on reading other fics from another fandom as well. So, sorry if the characters are out of character.

Anyways, if you enjoyed this chapter, make sure to comment and leave a star!
