i wake up hearing this ear ringing alarm right in my ear. i turn it off and get up and go to my closet. i get a sweatshirt and some nike shorts and throw them on. i go to my vanity and brush my hair and put it up in a messy bun. i then begin to do my makeup. when i'm done i go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. i then here a ding.

i go to open my blinds to see matt there. i jump with fear. and open my window.
"what the fuck do you want?" i ask.
"no need to be rude." he says.
"matt shut up you're always rude to me for no reason." i say.
"can i come in? i wanted to grab something that chris left here." he asks.
"fine." i sigh.
"what is it?" i roll my eyes and yawn.
"a sweatshirt, he took mine and wore it here."
"fine, i'll get it." i say walking towards my closet.
"here matt." i hand it to him.
matt begins to go back to my window.
"do i get a thank you at least?" i sigh.
"nope." he says before climbing out of my window, closing it.
i roll my eyes and go get my socks on. i then run downstairs to get my nikes on.
it's finally thursday. only two more days of school until the weekend. thank the lord.
i grab my lanyard and backpack and lock the door. i then run over to the triplets house real quick.
as i'm in front of their house, i knock on their door.
"hey." nick said as he opened the door.
"hello. can i come in until we have to go?" i ask.
"of course." nick says as i come inside.
i go to sit beside chris on the couch.
"hey lu." chris says.
"hey" i smile.
i hear a ding on my phone and quickly check it.

oh my gosh, mads i gotta go.
my heart sank. i can't live alone, my parents died, my grandma might die next, my grandpa died. this is hell. before i go to school?
"you good lu?" chris asks.
"no, i've gotta go. i can't go to school today." i say rushing to get back home.
"what happened, luna tell me please." chris grabs my arm before i leave.
"i need to go to the hospital." i say stopping in my tracks.
"what? why?" he asks.
"it's urgent." i say holding back tears.
"you can't drive though?" he says.
fuck.
"matt.." i turn around to him on his phone.
"what." he says
"drive me to the hospital." i beg.
"why should i drive you to the hospital? you seem fine." he pockets his phone.
"it's my fucking grandma now take me to the hospital." i demand.
"im going to be late to school." he says.
"MATT. nobody gives a FUCK if you're going to be late to school. this is my grandmas life." i say.
"fine. let's go." i say.
i run out to matts car and get in the passenger seat.
shaking my leg up and down, biting my nails. the anxiety is kicking in.
tears start streaming down my face.
a few minutes later we get to the hospital.
"matt just drop me off, you guys go to school." i say pulling out my phone.
"that's what i was going to do." he says.
i roll my eyes and run into the hospital.
"i'm here for my grandma, she apparently had a seizure in her sleep and my sister just told me about it before i was able to go to school." i say rushing myself.
"oh alright. follow me." the lady says.
i begin to follow her into a room where my grandma and sister is.
"oh hi luna." she says looking up at me.
"hey mads, is she ok?" i ask.
"well for now, i'm really worried though because she doesn't have a high chance of living." mads says with a tear going down her face slightly.
tears go down my face as well. "i don't know what i'm going to do mads, i would have to live alone." i look at her. "i'm going to miss her so much." i look back down.
"me to lu. but i can come live with you, since you don't have anybody else. but for now we need to focus on grandma." she says.
i nod and just fall asleep on the chair.
