Chapter 9: Mia's crush?

Killian Pov: 

At Cafeteria 

 'Stupid me, how could I even think that she will be mine when I clearly see that her affection towards Tristan. *sighs* Tristan is great guy obviously she will choose him not me. *Faking a smile while looking at them* I wish that you could see me with those heart eyes like you do with him. 

As I was lost in thoughts, someone poked me. It was Mia and said "You shouldn't fake smile; you don't look nice plus your jaw hurts. Trust me with this one" and she chuckles. "Wait, how do you know I was faking my smile" I said while looking so cluelessly at her. "There is something called eyes to see and a brain to think, clearly some people don't have it" she said a last sentence while looking at lilac and Tristan. Sometimes I wonder that Mia has a crush on Tristan that's why she is jealous of Lilac and Tristan closeness. 

Little did he know, the situation is completely different than he imagines 

*Back to the scene*

"Why are you guys laughing so much and you, Killian are you okay? You seem a little lost in some thoughts" Gray asked me with curiosity. "It's nothing just stressed about college fair and drama you know" I replied to him, but he didn't believe me before he could question me again.

 His attention was grabbed by some random guy. "You just shipping your sister with Theater kid" A guy replied. "What made you think that my sister will date Tristan, I'm pretty sure he will not meet my Lilac standard. She literally reads so many romance novels. Awo..." As Lilac smacked him with her bag and left. 

"Dude you literally not active on gossip page of our university". He didn't believe it what so ever but dragged Tristan with him for their secret discussion. As I about to take my leave, Mia grabbed my hand and said "I heard you joined theater club this year. I hope this year college drama, you and I can act together" *smiles* and left. 

Weird girl, instead acting with Tristan she wants to act with me? Wasn't her crush being Tristan...

At home,

As I was glancing through my Ms. Velvet notes, I heard a ping. It was a message from Drama club...

At phone

Captain: As you there is University fair coming up soon. We need to hurry up as the script is ready. Just waiting for time to execute it to you guys 

Theater Kid: I really excited with this team; I love working with you guys.

Sima: Can't wait to see university popular kids together *Heart eyes*

I was kind of annoyed that he thinks about himself as a celebrity what? And These fangirls raise his ego up so high. *sighs*

Me: Excited about the plan!!

Lilac: I hope it's not some Shakespear's theater act. I can't bear that old English sorry ancient English *Laughs*

Theater Kid: Nah, you will do well

I switched off my phone as the group chat filled with those fangirls and how their ship is sailing. I walked towards my balcony and looked over my rose bushes. I said while holding a rose in my hand "Do you think she will like me back". My eyes started to fill with tears and wipe it off as I hear my mom calling me for dinner.
