Friendships improves happiness and abates misery by doubling our joys and dividing our grief. Friendship evolving into something more is always a scary thing for anyone but when it feels so right, why run? After the Ferris Wheel, Jacob and Honey made their way out of the fair and to his bike. Honey giggled at the way Jacob's hand wouldn't stray far from her, he either held her hand or had his arm around her waist. No words were really shared after the two practically made out with each other in the Ferris Wheel cart under the setting sun. On the ride back home, Jacob used one hand to control the bike while the other rested on Honey's thigh despite her arms wrapped around him.
When they stopped in front of the Swan residence, Honey had climbed off the bike and stood beside Jacob as he steadied the bike on its stand and looked up at her. "You know the Ferris Wheel was the most cliche move ever, right?" Honey teased, she knew he did it for the kiss but she didn't mind. "Worked out, didn't it?" Jacob replied with a proud grin. "I guess it did," Honey told him as she let him guide her closer to him. "It was a good day," Jacob said as his hands rested on Honey's hips. "It was a great day," Honey corrected slipping her arms around Jacob's shoulders before leaning down and kissing him again. Jacob pulled her closer wanting to deepen the kiss but she pulled away with a smirk, "Good night, Jake."
He groaned playfully as Honey turned and made her way up the door, he watched her hips sway and shook his head when she glanced back with a wink. Jacob didn't leave until Honey was safe inside the house, the bike engine roared down the street making Honey grin. "Was it good?" Bella asked as she leaned on the doorway. "Please tell me I don't need to shoot the boy," Charlie's voice interrupted before Honey could answer Bella. "We only kissed, Charlie. Don't worry," Honey assured him, he nodded and waved his hand; he had heard enough so he walked away. "But it was sweet and... perfect," Honey said before yawning, "But I'm tired so let's go to bed." Bella nodded and the two headed off to bed.

Two weeks went by and the soul sisters had set up a girls day with Jessica and Angela. While Honey was good friends with Angela, the blonde happened to understand Jessica in a way that Bella couldn't so the brunette would usually spend more time with Angela instead. The plan was to do breakfast and then go a little roadtrip out of Forks, some sight seeing and shopping. Jacob wasn't too keen on Honey or Bella being so far from his protection, especially Honey but he couldn't argue out of it against Honey who could convince him that the pope was a sinner. So with a sweet kiss shared with the russet man, Honey was on the road for the Saturday alongside Bella, Jessica and Angela.
Angela had volunteered to drive in her car so Honey pushed Bella to take the passenger seat leaving her and Jessica in the back talking about school and other people. The conversation was light and Angela had already told Jessica not to mention the Cullens in front of Bella, something she accepted not wishing to upset Honey. It was a few hours until they had gotten away from Folks and on the other side of Seattle, the girls were laughing and talking about the most random topics. Honey noticed how Bella was actively involved in the conversation and she seemed to be happy leaving Honey feeling accomplished and overjoyed that the girl is doing better.
