Chapter 1

Back in the Crimson night

Lisette(is that how her name is spelled?) was being sucked into space but she pulled in with her two more shards with her. Ashlyn and her friend screamed out "Senpai,Yuka!" Kateru then finished sealing the witch and unintentionally their friends. Kateru  then collapsed and Ashlyn ran to him. "W-What's happening?" Said Ashlyn to the last guardian. The guardian told her he was dying. He used too much power when he was sealing the witch. "A-Ashlyn you need to take the shards we have and take my eye. Th-they'll be safe with you" Kateru said. I nod and do just that. The guardian gave me a few powers and sent me and Kateru's corpse back to the real world. She came along too. I later went to Kateru's funeral and left for Tokyo's 20th ward.

Dark and cold alleys. That's what Tokyo was. I was in the 20th ward and according to what I heard, its recently came up with a higher ghoul problem. Apparently a ghoul, who most know as Rize, tried to eat a boy. The sad part is I know the boy. His name Kaneki Ken. Back before I came to the orphanage, I had an adoptive mother named Kurosaki Mayu. She was one of the scientist at the lab. She hated seeing me watched behind a glass, so when I escaped she found me and took care me as her own till she died of sickness. During my time there I made two friends. That was Ken and Hide. Hide was always very energetic and Ken was always a quiet boy. He and I loved to read together when Hide couldn't hangout.

When I left to the orphanage where I met Yuka and Kateru, I felt I found them yet again. Yuka reminded me of Hide a lot, and Kateru and I read books together and was quiet like Ken. Now I'm glad he's alive but I'm worried... I'm worried about Ken because they said they're putting ghoul organs inside Ken to replace his damaged ones. What will happen to him? What will happen to his normal self? Well I guess I better head off to school. (Same school as Touka's)(lol they probably didn't announce the ghoul organs but whatever)

When I walk in with my schedule the teacher introduces me then says "Sit next to Kirishima". I look and a girl waves her hand so I'm guessing that's her. I sit next to her as instructed and "enjoy" the lecture. Soon it was my favorite time of the day, LUNCH! I noticed that Kirishima-san doesn't chew her food but swallows it whole and pretends to chew it. Later I notice Kirishima-san go to the bathroom and made herself throw up. Ok that's it! She's either purging or she's a ghoul! I thought. I head back home since lunch is last for me.

When I arrive I open my second fridge. I grab a bottle of water and a blood pill. This is the best blood replacement I got so I'm happy. Then I watch vampire knight. I swear a vampire gave them the idea for the pills... After it's over I head over to the park nearby and sit there. Then I smell something. It's smells a lot like Kirishima smells except a little different. I hide in the tree and see a human and ghoul fighting. So that's a quinque? I heard that they are made of ghouls gleams. That's terrifying!

Soon the ghoul is killed and I act pretty scared since he looked at me. The man then said "What are you doing here girl?" I merely say "I was relaxing on this branch and saw you and the ghoul come this way". Then my alarm went off. "If you'll excuse me sir I must get home so I can have dinner and get to bed so I can get up early for school tomorrow" I say to him and take my leave. He says "Be careful of ghouls!" I nod and continue walking.

I get my other pills that replace AB+ blood. The one I normally carry around is O-.
Soon I go to sleep and then wake up yet again. I head to school and sit through the boring lectures until lunch. At lunch Kirishima and her friend invited me to eat lunch with them. I agreed though I had to explain to her friend I can't eat solid food. I told her I put all the food I need in a smoothie along with some medicine that makes it filling for me. She understands and asked what was in my red smoothie. I told her it was Strawberries, pomegranate, (insert other red fruit) and of course my medicine. I wasn't lying either. The medicine is a different type of pill that helps vampires swallow liquified fruit, or in this case, smoothies.

The lab may have let me go but they still did their best to make my life easier and less threatening to humans. I sit down and we finish what's left of school. Soon school is over and I decided to attempt to follow Kirishima. I followed her to a coffee shop and I soon came to the conclusion that she worked there. I decided to have a cup of coffee since I have my pill ready. I walked in and I ordered. The waiter asked why I had pills, nosey much, and I had to explain it helps me digest foods and drinks. He nods, getting my order.
