These are her pajamas again.
I couldn't help but stay awake tonight thinking about the plan to spell Ben into loving mal but I can't blame her it was for her mother she needed to make her mother proud and I can relate to that.
I got up and went to the kitchen to get some blueberries for a midnight snack.
I walked in noticing the villain kids in there I walked in there in my pajamas and smiled at them." hey Mal, I was looking for you earlier. you know, all the girls want you to do their hair!"I said and she laughed nervously and I smiled at them."midnight snack, huh? whatcha guys making?"I looked into the bowl and saw cookie dough, which I couldn't resist.
I dipped my finger in as Mal started."nothing special. just cookies." she said and I stuck it in my mouth and they all ran toward me yelling." oh. no!"Mal scremed.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Carlos yelled, worried written all over his face. I looked at him and smiled.
I looked at all of them, confused." What? I'm not going to double dip."I said with my mouth full.
"Feel anything?" Evie asked me, worried, then looked over at Carlos.
"yeah, like maybe it might be missing something?" Mal asked and Jay walked up to me and placed his arm on the pole in front of me.
he smirked at me and I rolled my eyes and looked at him confused."hey there." Jay said flirty and I looked at him disgusted but then remembered what the girls asked.
"It could use some chips."I shrugged, and they all sighed and Evie and Mal looked at each other before taking glances at both Carlos and me.
"chips?" Jay asked.
"And those are?" Mal asked, and I looked at her, shocked.
"chocolate chips, you know the kind you guys had when I made cookies for you all."I said grabbing them out of the fridge and bringing the bowl over to them."just the most important food group.
I sprinkled some in."Wait, you all have never had chocolate chip cookies except for when I made them?"I asked and they all shrugged and nodded and I sighed."Wow, that must be a horrible life without chocolate, is almost as bad as life without blueberries."I said, and they looked at me confused. I went to the fridge, grabbed a carton of them and popped some into my mouth."I was raised on tea, chocolate, and blueberries."I gushed as I ate them. Carlos smiled at me.
"Why are you here, Alex?" Evie asked, worried as I stopped rambling, I had been trying to keep my mind busy.
"I couldn't fall asleep and I've been so stressed about Chase and the whole Lizzie thing and when I should tell her and about you guys and my mom freaking out when she sees you guys at parents day."I broke down into tears as Carlos hopped off the table he was on and wrapped his arms around me, bringing me into a hug.
"I'm so sorry," I said finally pulling away from Carlos everyone was looking at us but tears were still running down my cheeks.
mal put her hand on mine and then gasped and wiped one of the last tears I had with her finger and shook it into the bowl." yeah, well, big bummer, but we have to get these into the oven, so thank you so much for coming by." mal said sort of pushing me out of the door.
I started walking off with my blueberries in my hand but soon Carlos caught up to me." want me to walk you back?" he asked and I nodded and smiled.
He wrapped an arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer for comfort.
We arrived at my door, and he let go of me, and I smiled at him thankfully." thank you Carlos you don't realize how much you four make an impact on me."I smiled at him and waved goodbye to him as I opened the door and slid into the room.
I walked to my locker and saw the villain kids waiting for Mal to do the spell, so I just left it alone so I wouldn't get in trouble.
carlos's pov
We all walked behind Mal as she went to her locker, and we waited for her to give Ben the cookie. There were only two that worked out well enough out of the batch we made.
mal waved to some girls who were saying they loved their hair but I was busy looking at Alex who was down the hallway at her locker I saw her look at a heart-shaped pocket mirror one shaped like Evie's but It could close and open she put her hand on it to open it but pulled it back shaking her head before she pulled up the watch that was resting on her hip.
"Carlos, stop staring, she'll notice!" Evie whispered harshly to me, and I nodded, looking over at Mal and Jay, who were flirting with the girls below us.
Mal got Ben's attention and tried to give him one of the cookies, but he refused it once she started to say that you should never trust a villain kid, he took it out of her hand and took a bite out of it.
We all smirked and walked up to him as Mal looked back at us."How are they?" Mal asked him.
"they're good." he said plainly."they're great! They're amazing!" he said overstepping it a bit but I mean that's what you do when you fall in love trust me I would know I had that feeling ever since I set eyes on Alex."they're... I mean, they're chewy and, you know they... is that walnuts?" he asked her and she nodded smiling."I love walnuts." he smiled chuckling."I mean, you know, the chocolate..." he cleared his throat I think it was starting to take effect." the chocolate...chocolate chips are...I'm sorry, um... they're warm and soft." he said as the rest of us got closer to him." and they're sweet...mal, have you always had those little golden flecks in your eyes?" he asked her and my jaw dropped it worked he tried to take another bite but she stopped him.
Jay grabbed his shoulders." How are you feeling, bro?" he asked Ben.
"I feel...I feel...I feel like singing your name. Mal! Mal!" he started singing, and she covered his mouth as we all gasped with our jaws dropped.
Jay looked at the cookie, then looked at me, raising an eyebrow, hinting to the girl a couple of lockers behind us, staring cause Ben started yelling.
I looked behind me and it was Alex, Jay looked at me." Bro you sure you don't want to try just a little bite and she'll fall In love with you." Jay said and Evie agreed with him.
I looked back at the girl who was now leaving to get to class as she checked her watch." No, I'm not using magic to get her. I'm going to do it my way."I said determined, but when it came to Alex, I got scared and never did anything I planned to do the night before.
