Author's Point of ViewIt has been a month since the incident between Jungkook and Jimin occurred. Jimin had gone through his heat cycle for three weeks and four days, spending most of his time in solitude at home, writhing in agony. Every day, he would wake up in excruciating pain, accompanied by tears. The pain worsened as the days passed, twice as bad as before since he was spending his heat alone, without his mate. But Jimin's best friend was there for him, offering him the support he needed to make it through.
Today, he marked his return to work after recovering from the turmer. Although he dreaded facing Mr. Jeon, he had to work nonetheless. On his way to the elevator, he encountered two omegas and exchanged greetings with them before joining them inside. While in the elevator, he couldn't help but eavesdrop on their conversation.Yeji: "Yuna, have you heard? Mr. Jeon found his mate!"Yuna: "What?! How and why? I wanted to be his mate."Yeji: "Same, but I heard he rejected his mate because he doesn't like them and has someone else in mind."Yuna: "Poor Omega. I bet it's because the mate was ugly. Although he was used to being the subject of gossip and ridicule in the office, he was still hurt by their comments.
