Blay pov:

A knock on my door woke me up from my peaceful slumber.

I yawned while saying "who's there"

"Who else would it be" I heard maw say

I got up from my bed and went to the door to open it

"Hi" I said once I saw maw

"Cookies are done" she said while turning around

I followed her downstairs

"So where are our new neighbors?"

She sighed "first house the left of us"

"And do you know there names?"

"The house owners name is Lola, I talked to her whenever they were moving in, she has a sibling around your age"

"Oh okay cool"

We reached the downstairs and she lead me to the kitchen

I saw a plate with foil over it on the counter that must be the cookies.

"Make sure to call me if any thing happens and straight there and back." She said while handing me the plate of cookies.

"Yea yeah I know" I said while heading for the front door.

"Be safe!" She shouted to make sure I could hear her

I mean who couldn't she's naturally loud.

I walked out the door, then off the porch to go left Once I was out our property.

I was humming as I was walking to the house on the left. They had a little ways between our neighbors, out cafe is kinda in the middle of nowhere.

I reached the house. It was pretty

It was a tan two story house, with red outlines.

I walked up to the front door then knocked

"COMING"

The door opened I saw a prettygirl with long black hair with pretty green eyes in the frame of the door

"Sorry for the wait how can I help you" she said

"Oh no it's okay, I just brought some cookies for you, a welcome to the neighborhood gift" I said with a warm smile and gestured to the cookies.

"Aw thank you so much" a heartwarming smile was on her face

"No problem, I'm blay by the way, my maw owns the cafe to your right."

"Nice to meet you, I'm lola-"

"Who's here?" I heard someone shout in the house

"Oh sorry that my younger brother" she said with a nervous laugh

I saw who the voice belonged too. He was about 7 feet behind Lola. Wearing a red shitt and some jeans

Without noticing he came downstairs, she continued. "how old are you by the way, I think your my brother's age"

"Oh hi blay" he said with a suprized look

His sister looked behind her, then to me, then back at him. Then finally to me again

"Oh I'll just take these" she grabbed the cookies "and let yall talk" she said with a sneaky smirk

Both me and aiden looked at her intill she left.

"Hi" he walked up to the door

"Hi"

iNsErT one minute later~ FroM spOnGebOb

"Um do you wanna come in?"

"Sure"

He turned around and led me to the kitchen where I could see Lola facing the counter, eating some cookies

Aiden cleared his throat

Which caught lolas attention, making her turn around "Oh blay, these cookies are amazing"

"You can thank my maw for that" I said with a chuckle

"Soo. How do yall know each otherr~" she sung with a smile. Which caused a smile to sneak to my face

"On the beach" aiden said plainly while walking forward towards the cookies. He grabbed two

"Aww how romantic" Lola said

"Eh. Not really" aiden walked back to me handing me a cookie. Which I happily accepted

"Hmph. Why not" she took a bite of another cookie

I followed her example and bit into mine

She was right, maw did a good job on those.

"Because" he answered, now in between me and Lola, a little to the right. I could see a tint of red on his cheeks

"Because isn't an answer lil bro" she protested.

I watched them bicker a little more while I was finishing up my cookie

"Well it is now" aiden stated

"HmMm" Lola scooted over to her younger brother "is that a blush I see~" poking aidens cheek

He bent the other way, swatting her hand away

"Nah, must be all the pills your on"

She gasp dramatically.

What she said next made me confused

"Your the ones on pill not me"

He sent her a death glare

"Yea whatever" he said

It was nice to see aiden like this. He kinda reminded me of maw because both was sassy and stuff. Always had a comeback. But I never saw this side of him. I mean we haven't really spoken that much to each other to be honest. But when we have he was ually quite and shy. But now she's the opposite. Which I liked.

"Well Ima go now" I said with a akward smile. I didn't wanna over stay my visit

"Oh okay, thanks again for the cookies" Lola said

"No problem" I glanced towards aiden which I was met with his deep colored eyes.

"Can you walk her out please aiden"

He nodded

Aiden stepped forward and lead me the same way I got in. He opened the front door.

I faced him with a smile as I was about to walk out

"Thank you" he said returning back to his shy self. Avoiding eye contact and a weak voice

"No problem" I smiled.

With that I turned around and went back the way I came.

I guess he's only like that with his sister. I wonder if I become better friends he'll warm up to me too. I'll try it. I also wondered where his parents where. Maybe I'll ask him later.

After a little while of walking I reached the house. I stepped into our grass and walked to the front door then opened it and walked in.

"Blay?" I heard maws voice

"Yup just me"

"Oh okay, how was it?"

"Fun" I answered
