"Oh my god I can't believe I get the chance to speak infront of the CEO" I exclaimed. Excitement bubbled inside me, this is what I've been waiting for so long. "Your not the only one Sof" Alex rolled her eyes. "I know I know but I can't help it" I quickly grabbed the folders.

"I have everything written down and memorized" I smiled at my two friends. "Yes but we have to be careful, Mr Blackwood likes to look at every single aspect, this better be flawless " Maya said worriedly to which I just rolled my eyes.

"Guys relax everything is going to be fine, just let me do all the talking". They responded with nods. "Who is in there?"
"Basically the entire board members and investors plus the CEO and he's father with his two brothers" Alex said looking at her phone.

"Wait do you mean Jade Blackwood and Zach Blackwood with their father Adin Blackwood?" Maya's eyes widened. "Certainly alot of Blackwoods" Alex joke. Maya did not find this funny. "Did you see Zach!? He's so hot I think I might pass out" she cried dramatically.

"Nah Jade is a total hottie!" Alex exclaimed. They started getting into an argument about whose the hottest. Idiots. "Sof what do you think?" Maya asked me. "I think they look so ugly as their father" catching them both off caurd. Before they could agrue, Mr Blackwood's assistant Daniel Foreman came out. "They are ready for you." Here goes nothing.

We made our way in. Maya and Alex started setting the files down. And they stood not to far from me. "Good day gentlemen" I recieved gentle nods from them. Except from Mr Blackwood. Asshole!

"My name is Sofia Santos and I am the Director of Event and Marketing, here at Blackwood Hotels and Resorts. These are my colleagues" I spoke with confidence and gave over to Maya and Alex.

And they took it further. "My name is Maya Patel and I'm a marketing specialist. I often collab with Ms Santos on projects". Any idiots would tell she was looking at Zach and it didn't look like he was complaining.

"I'm Alexandra Thompson and I am a event planner". Short but it was all she could say, but without her my ass would be gone.

"Good day ladies, please the floor is all yours" Mr Blackwood spoke. God he's voice sounded so sexy. My god. Wait what? No this wasn't the time for these thoughts. He's gaze remain on me, I felt my confidence fade and the nervousness setting in my chest.

"Actually sir, we'd prefer to leave it to Ms Santos" Alex eyed Jade up and down. Wait now? Please god no! He only lifted his eyebrow with is a sign of approval I guess. And Maya and Alex left the room. God kill me now!

Okay Sofia you can do this.
I started walking around placing a file infront of each of them.
"What I'm trying to accomplish is conceptualize and execute bespoke events that surpass our clients' expectations, showcasing our luxury brand and exceptional service

Lead a high-performing team of event coordinators, marketers, and support staff to deliver flawless events and exceed customer satisfaction targets

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Culinary, to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for our guests

Stay ahead of industry trends, monitor competitor activity, and identify opportunities to innovate and improve our events and marketing initiatives

Our goal is  to create unforgettable experiences that build loyalty, drive revenue, and solidify Blackwood Hotels & Resorts as the ultimate luxury event destination."

Before I could continue, Mr Blackwood spoke. "Ms Santos I have some major issues here and I take my work very serious. Number one, there is lack of concrete metrics meaning, I  feel that your  presentation focuses too much on abstract concepts like "unforgettable experiences" and "luxury brand" without providing specific, measurable targets for event bookings, revenue growth, or customer satisfaction.

Number two there are  insufficient emphasis on ROI, as a businessman, I am  be concerned that your approach prioritizes aesthetics and customer experience over the bottom line. I  want to see a clearer connection between the events and marketing strategies and their potential return on investment

Number three there are too much emphasis on creativity, not enough on strategy, I can argue that your presentation leans too heavily on creative vision and not enough on strategic planning, market analysis, and competitive positioning.

And number four, I can clearly see much  perceived lack of accountability, I feel that your presentation doesn't clearly outline your team's responsibilities, timelines, and benchmarks for success, leading me to question your ability to lead the division effectively."

Motherfucker!
