Haruka sighed as she picked up her crutches, apparently Shoko wanted to teach Haruka that her actions had consequences.
"Look, it's normal to break a bone or two during a mission, but two times in a row?! There won't always be someone with RCT by your side, you need to be careful!"
Megumi helped Haruka pick up her schoolwork as the two walked next to each other, "So... When's that leg gonna heal?" He asked, looking at the crutches Haruka was using.
"Probably in a month or two..." Haruka grumbled, "I wish Shoko-sensei could've just used RCT though... I get it though, I gotta be more careful." She said, walking to her room.
Megumi put down the papers onto her desk, "Oh, you're at 9th grade level now?" He asked, lifting up the book that was at the top of the pile.
Haruka put down her crutches at the foot of her bed, "Yep." She said proudly, taking out a notebook from under her pillow.
Megumi walked over to Haruka's bed, watching as she drew random stuff, like black gloves, a hairpin, and whatever came to her mind.
"You're a good artist." He finally said, catching Haruka slightly off guard.
She shook her head as she closed her notebook, "I'm not that good. There's plenty of people who are better then me..." She said tucking her notebook back under her pillow.
Then she stood up, reaching down for her crutches again, "Well! I'm gonna go talk to Nobara!" She finally said.
Despite Megumi's protests, she scampered away, her crutches hitting the edge of her doorframe as she shut it close.
Megumi stayed still for a moment before leaving Haruka's room.

Nobara infused her cursed energy into her straw doll, a piece of wood from a training dummy near the doll. "Now move!" She said, moving the straw dolls arm.
The training dummy stood still.
"What'cha doing?" Haruka asked, grabbing Nobara by the shoulders and then looking up at the dummy.
Nobara flinched, "Oh it's just you Haruka.... I was trying to test out my cursed technique." She said, pointing at the straw doll in her hands.
"Y'see, I was trying to see if I could control my target from far away... Y'know like a puppeteer!" She said, pointing at the doll, then she sighed.
"But it looks like my needles are the only thing that can exert cursed energy." She said, kicking the dirt beneath her feet.
Haruka nodded, "Say... You've probably been training for a while. How about we... Go shopping?" She asked, unsure about how to approach Nobara.
AHHHHH, where's my usual unhinged nature!?! Besides, what kind of person would just be willing to drop training and go shopping with a total weirdo like me!?
Nobara wiped away her sweat, "Sure. I've been training for almost 2 hours at this point so..." She said, picking up her bag and already walking to the exit of the school.
YES!!!
Haruka shook off her shyness as she walked next to Nobara, "So... I heard that there's this new store that sells hairpins!" She said, motioning to the hairpin in her own hair.
"Do you also wanna go to this other clothing store that opened a month ago? The reviews there are pretty good..." Nobara said, a large smile on her face.
"Just to make sure...You have enough money for this right? You don't need to worry about me, Gojo-sensei gave me an allowance. And I also get paid for my missions." Haruka said, reaching into her pocket to pull out a wallet.
Nobara nodded, "Yep! After getting accepted here, I was given some funds for the first few months of my stay here. And I also recently got paid for that mission with Itadori!" She said happily, pulling out her own wallet.
"Also that's a cute wallet, where'd you get it from?" Nobara asked, looking at Haruka's panda shaped wallet.
"That reminds me, it's from this place..."
...
"That... I think we're gonna need to save a little for the next few months..." Haruka said, carrying around 2 bags full clothes, a computer, some hairpins, and other cute things.
"At least my room won't look so bland anymore!" She said, looking at the stuffed animals in her bag.
Meanwhile Nobara scoffed, "Only 2 bags... I'm even more financially irresponsible!" She said, holding up almost 6 of her own bags.
Then Nobara grabbed Haruka's 2 bags, "You're in crutches, don't force yourself to hold anything." She said, looking at Haruka's leg.
Haruka stuck out her tounge, "Anyways, how much money do you have left? I have enough for at least a month. I'll probably be healed by then, and I'll be able to go on missions!" She said happily.
"And I have enough for... A week!" She said, "I'll just go on a couple of low-grade missions and earn my keep!" She cheered, holding the bags above her head.

Haruka crouched on her bed, positioning the large frog plushie she bought next to her pillow. "Great! That's plushie 5!" She said, looking at the other plushies which were various animals.
Yuji popped his head into Haruka's room, "Did you see my poster?" He asked, "Pretty sure it flew away while I was doing something."
"If by poster, you mean the picture of a women with blonde hair wearing a bikini, then yes. It's under my bed, I've been using it as a reference." She said putting her giraffe plushie next to her axolotl plushie,
Yuji slightly blushed, stepping over the bags on the floor to grab his poster. "Thank you... Also the bed's gonna be crowded if you have too many stuffed animals on it. I would know..." He said, looking at the 9 stuffed animals on her bed.
"Yeah but... Then one of them will be lonely!" She said, squeezing her bear plushie to her chest.
"But then one of them will fall onto the floor! And they'll be sad!" Yuji said, pointing to the panda plushie which was already close to the edge of Haruka's bed.
"FINE!" Haruka jumped onto her foot, two of her plushies in her hands as she hopped to her seat. She placed down both her plushies on the seat.
"Now, they won't fall!" She proclaimed, earning a couple of claps from Yuji.
Meanwhile, Megumi was contemplating his life choices in the room next door.
