"What do you mean i also have to go out and do a photoshoot with him?" aera cried out to her manager through her phone. She was pacing in her hotel room as her manager,eve, tried explaining the whole situation.
"It's to help with your marketing and his upcoming race." aera scrunched her face at what she just said because to her it made absolutely no sense at all "but i'm still in vegas right now ,and i already have plans with ben,i can't miss his birthday" she tried explaining
eve didn't really want to burst her bubble but she had no choice because this was the pr teams decision,they had already made a deal with lando's team and worst of all her mother was the one that made her team do this
"look aera,you know how the internet is,they loved your relationship with him and they still do,this will be great for both your public image including his and besides i don't think you would want to disappoint mrs lee "she explained

"you know that your mom still has power over us,there's nothing we can do"she told her. aera started becoming so agitated at this point that she couldn't say anything to her instead she remained silent for a while,her mother was so always so excited at the idea of her being together with lando and she's always wondered why was that and also why would lando get his pr agent to also agree to all of the crap that was happening
"i'll send you the details of when and where you should meet up and when we should also proceed with the photoshoot including the appearance at his race.look,i know that this is hard for you aera.but trust me it's also hard for me too because i saw how you breaking up with him brought you down emotionally."

aera lets out an exaggerated sigh before she flops down on her bed . "fuck my life" she whispered under her breath
