It was the day of engagement, everyone was busy with the preparations while I had just one job that i love the most, shopping.

I was on my way back in the palace when I saw him walking out with some bags in one hand and his phone in the other. He was busy with his phone when I saw the 'golden bell of idea' rung beside my head to have a 'quick chit chat moment'.

"Oh shit– I'm sorry," I dropped my shopping bags not so accidentally and pretended that I actually didn't see him walking towards me. "Sorry, sorry," all of my things were scattered outside my bags, but little did i know he'd accidentally drop his bags too.

"Its okay, miss." I was actually sorry for dropping his things even though i wanted to take his time, i never for a second wanted to disturb his personal space.

"Its alright," he bent down to pick his things back up and so did i. He handed me my things while I too helped him.

Damn, his voice was as powerful as thunder while he was as gentle as the rain itself.

I gave him a soft smile, while he helped me gather my scattered things and of course so did i. I picked my accessories and book- pride and prejudice which surprisingly i don't recall bringing with me.

"Have a nice day," was all he spoke after he got up after wrapping his all the things up and walked off.

Dang it, I didn't even got the chance to ask his name, but its not my fault he was not distracted enough.

Kitne khadoos lagte hai by god, lekin koi baat nahi thoda nakhra toh mai bhi utha sakti huu. (How much of a grump he looks, by god, but it doesn't matter, I can handle a little bit of tantrums too.)

By god, ye filmo vale romantic scene mere saath kyu nahi hote!! (By god, why don't these romantic scenes from the movies happen to me!!)

Minutes later, I returned to my room to find Alana, gracefully poised at the dresser, carefully arranging her jewellery for the evening.

As I started to unwrap all my new purchases, I came across the book that I picked up after colliding with him which soon made me realize that it wasn't mine; it was his, because my book was already on the side table. I had accidentally brought his book with me.

I had to return it, so, I started walking toward his room, but before that, I hid my sunflower bookmark that I made, between that one specific page.

That's when it hit me that there is a possibility that he might've written his name in the books–

So, I started to search for it, and I was right. There it was, his name.
