Prologue

You lay back on the bed and looked out the window. There were buildings with bright roofs, cafes, perfume shops and many different flowers. Although most of them are occupied by rose bushes.

Thanks to magic, they still bloom despite the cold. Although the winter in Quinndom was not very cold, rather slightly chilly.

You were wondering what to do for another day of winter break. Riddle is definitely studying, and Trey is helping out at his parents' bakery. You could hang out with that freshman from RSA, but you have no idea where he is.

Eventually you decided to just go for a short walk.

Quinndom of Roses

You wandered aimlessly through the streets with your satisfied smile, and looked around the small shops.

You were distracted by two guys who were passing by. One of them had ginger hair, the second had blue hair. They were loudly arguing about something, and in their hands they were carrying bags with all sorts of souvenirs and gifts.

You laughed quietly at them before continuing on your way.

It seems you're a little lost...
You stood in the middle of an unfamiliar meadow of flowers.

'At least it's nice here.' - you admired the flowers for a while before noticing some movement.

Taking a closer look, you realized that it was a strange white rabbit. He was wearing a dark blue vest and an eye patch.

Out of curiosity, you moved closer to it, but it began to back away from you before running. Of course you went after it.

The rabbit ran to an old oak tree in the middle of the field and jumped into a large hole between the roots. You squatted in front of the entrance and tried to see something; in addition to the terrifying darkness, a small ray of light could be seen there.

'It seems to me that it’s not worth climb down there...' - you thought before you climbed there. As they say, curiosity killed the cat.

You slowly sank down, looking at the things that were also falling around you.

There were strange antique furniture and all sorts of patterns, but one particular painting caught your attention. It appears to depict a family of four.

The upper part was burned and the faces of the two adults were not visible, only from the figures it was clear that they were a man and a woman.

In front of them stood two small children, on the face of one of them there was a huge blot of something red, completely covering his face. The other had only his right eye covered up.

You stare at the painting for a moment before just shrugging and walking lower into the light.

Finally you climbed out and saw the sky above you.

You shook off the dust and looked around. It seems you are in a forest or park. Some kind of massive building could be seen between the trees.

Meanwhile:

"Hm?" - a tall, dark-haired man in a tailcoat looked out the large window. There was confusion and curiosity on his face.

"What is it, Sebastian?" - he was asked by a boy sitting at the table and without taking his eyes off the document in his hands.

"Something has appeared on the territory of the estate. It's strange." - the butler frowned, looking towards the forest again.
