A tale of three runaways

Part 2

In the morning I was woken up by a woman banging on the door "Wake up you two!" I look to window and it is just barely starting to get light. I look over at Aria, she is  already up and putting on her shoes "Morning Oli! How did you sleep?" I rub my eyes "Ok I guess." after I put my clothes on I walk out of the room with Aria and the boy from last night "Hi Oli I guess I never properly introduced myself. My name is Mason." he says putting his hand out "Nice to meet you Mason!" I shake his hand and we walk over to what seems to be the cafeteria. We all sat down at an empty table with our food. A lady was calling people to a back room one by one and the people who went in came out bloody or bruised "what are they doing in the back?" I ask "They are being tested on." she answers me hesitantly "What do you mean?" I tilt my head slightly "We're in a lab remember" Mason chimes in. As I turn to look at him my stomach fills with butterflies. Do I like Mason? No I can't! I've only known him for less then a day! "I know but why are they coming out bloody and bru" My words were cut off by Mr. Castro's assistant dragging one of those big black trash bags with something in it. "Aww not Tobey he was so nice!" Aria said with a sad expression "What happened?" I say very confused  "Sometimes during testing they push you to hard and you don't make it out." the table went silent "Mason Bennett!" Mason stood up "Good luck Mason!" Aria says to Mason while walks away. Mason comes back 20 minutes later bloody and bruised like the others. He sits down and continues eating as if nothing happened "Are you all right?" I say worried "Yes I'm fine Oli don't worry about me worry about yourself your next." as soon as he said that my name was called. I waled into the back room. My hart was racing. "Hi Oli would you mind moving stack of books with your mind please?" I was shocked that he was being so nice "um ok." I look over to the books and lift them in the air "good now though them against the wall please." I drop the books and look towards him "I don't know how to do that yet." He starts to get angry "Just do it!" I lift the books and through them against the wall. "Perfect! Now we are going to make a little bit of a jump in weight." I nod "Do you see that car over there?" he points to the car in the corner of the room "Yes." I answer "I want you to lift that." I look at the car and try to lift it. The car flouted an inch off the ground. As I was holding the car in the air a warm liquid started to drip from my nose. I lift my hand to touch it and brought my finger up to my eyes. It was blood. I set the car down and turned to look at Dr. Castro. "Excuse me but my nose is bleeding." I say " Don't worry Oli that's normal." I look at him confused "Now we are going to test how you defend yourself. Get ready." suddenly the car I had just lifted flew at me luckily I was able to dodge it. This went on for another fifteen minutes random things around the room would come flying at me and sometimes I would dodge them and sometimes they would hit me. I came back out into the cafeteria covered in blood and bruises "Oli are you ok?!" Mason asked "Um......ya I'm fine. But we can't just stay here we need to get out!" "You know what ya we need to get out." Aria and I look at look at Mason "Mason you in?" He rolls his eyes "Fine I'm in." After breakfast we all go back to our rooms and start discussing our plan. We agree to do it in the morning.
