Six years after the final battle of Hogwarts, the wizarding world receives its biggest headline since. It is July of 2004.

The daily profit is going to boom in sales for sure.

Head Auror and a beloved employee of the ministry of magic had been convicted of murder.

Because of an unforgivable act.

And there was no redeeming himself, at least he had convinced himself so.

before.

The Ministry was busy, always busy. Everyone had an important job to do, and everyone valued their jobs very highly, now that new non-corrupt people had taken over. Hermoine Granger, Draco Malfoy, and Harry Potter, as well as many other graduates of Hogwarts took work there. Highly adored, they rose through ranks at lightning speed, their charisma never ceasing to aid them in every endeavour and obstacle they faced.

Hermione had been elected Minister, and Draco Malfoy was working as the head of The Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

Harry Potter, like Ron Weasley, hadn't gone to his seventh year of Hogwarts after receiving the first-class order of Merlin, instead choosing to begin training to become an Auror. Quite an easy job to acquire when you are known as the final demise of the Dark Lord. Ron became an Auror as well, only to abandon his career two years in, valuing the start of a family with Hermoine, and becoming the co-owner of family-owned joke shop "Weasleys Wizard Wheezes." with George.

It took Harry little time to reach top status, taking charge of all things related to the capture of Criminal Witches and Wizards. With him being at the top though, he was often sent personally to take care of any threats, and evilness in the wizarding world came to a silence, completely underground.

No one wanted their fate to be chosen by the boy who had the strength to kill the Dark Lord, a fate worse than death was to surrender to Harry Potter.

Though Harry caused mass amounts of improvement, his job was demanding; often never home, away for weeks as he was consumed by his work, striving to reform the Ministry and make frequent visits to Hogwarts to inspire the next generation of Wizards to not make any attempts to repeat history.

With him being gone so often, came the annoyance of his fiancé, Ginny Weasley.

"Will you ever stop for a moment?" she'd ask Harry.

"We haven't even had time to get married. I'd say you're already married to your work."

Four years into his work, in 2002, Ginny called off the engagement and went to live with Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, leaving room for her quidditch career to take off, and it did.

Harry, though left in devastation, and with a strained relationship with Ron, didn't let it affect his work. Oftentimes when he would be asked how he was doing, he would shrug it off.

"I've been through worse."

The Ministry became renowned for its booming success story, taken from ashes and built back up by Harry's generation of Wizards.

It really is too bad it all got spoiled, because of hatred, because of protection, because of a love thought to have been forgotten.

Day one.

Harry swerved his chair seat back and forth, manoeuvring it with his heels on the ground.

He stares at a photograph, 1994. Him, Ron, and Hermione posed for the picture. Ron's hand on Hermione's shoulder, his other hand putting bunny ears up behind Harry's head, it showed Harry smiling brightly.
