Chpt.8

Y/ns POV:
The next morning I woke up and didn't feel great so I decided to have a shower and just throw on leggings and an oversized hoodie

I went down for breakfast and everyone was already awake

"Hey Honey, how did you sleep?" Mama asked as I sat next to her

"Ok, I don't feel great though" I whispered to her

"Oh ok, well we can take it easy today" mama said smiling at me and offering me some food but I said no

Just then Thor stood up

"I would like to inform you all I will be returning to Asgard today." He said

"About time" Tony said

"I'll miss you too" Thor said rolling his eyes as Tony laughed

"In the meantime there's a mission today, everyone expect my little happy family there. Wanda, Nat and y/n. You've got the day off, congrats" he said smiling and handing out the mission brief

"What's the mission?" Kate asked

"Retrieve Hydra files" Tony replied

"Do you need the big green guy or am I in the lab" Bruce asked

"Lab please banner" Tony said, he nodded and put his plate in the sink and walked to the elevator

After everyone had gone to get changed I turned to Nat and Mama

"Uh, can, can we do something together today?" I asked

"Of course honey, anything, but we'll still take it easy if you're not feeling great ok?" Mama said

I nodded and Nat looked to me

"What's up buttercup? Feeling under the weather?" She asked

I just shrugged and excused myself to get changed. I really wasn't feeling up to anything today, not physically but mentally so I decided I'd try take my mind off it even if I literally wanted to collapse

"Ok, I'm ready..." I said walking back in

"Ok, I was thinking maybe just taking a walk on the park and then getting lunch in that little cafe around the corner?" Mama said

"Yeah sounds good." I said

Mama looked at me funny but I brushed it off

"Ok, go get your shoes and we will wait outside for you" Nat said as I went back to get my shoes

Nats POV:
"Wanda, is there something up with y/n?" I asked

"I don't know, she seems really tired and drained." Wanda said concerned

"Maybe some fresh air will help" i said kissing her

When we made it to the park we walked to the fountain. Y/n wanted to throw some pennys on it so me and Wanda were on a bench talking

"Nat, I'm starting to get a bit worried about y/n. I mean she seems so off today, I know she said she didn't feel great but this feels diffrent" she said looking at me worriedly

"How about we go get lunch and when we get back I'll give you guys space to talk and maybe you can see what's happening?" I suggested

Wanda nodded and went to get y/n for lunch.

Wandas POV:
We arrived at the coffee shop and we sat down to order

"Ok, what's everyone having?" I asked

"The club sandwich is looking pretty good" Nat said

"Uhm, I'm not actually hungry, I don't think I'm gonna get anything" y/n said

"Honey you didn't eat any breakfast, you should eat something." I said

"I'm not hungry." She said slightly annoyed

Nat looked at me and I just brushed it off and let her get some juice, at least it was something.

By the time we got back to the compound everyone was home so I couldn't chat with y/n

"Guys we're gonna do a movie night tonight for fun" Yelena said

When everyone was in the family room Tony came in with pizza, everyone grabbed a slice while we were deciding on a movie

Y/n was sitting next to me and she hadn't grabbed anything to eat

"Hun, are you not gonna grab anything to eat?" I asked

"I'm not hungry" she said, once again

"Y/n..." I said sternly but not loud enough for people to hear

"Can I be excused?" She said

"Fine." I said

She got up and walked to the elevator and up to her room

"What's wrong Wanda?" Nat asked me

"I don't know....she didn't want anything to eat again." I said

"I should probably check on her since I can talk to her alone now." I said to Nat and excused myself from the movie

When I made it up to y/ns room I could hear crying so I knocked lightly but no answer, I cracked the door open and took a few steps in but  didn't see her

I could still hear sobbing and realised the bathroom door was cracked open I slowly walked up and pushed the slightly ajar door into the bathroom

That's when I saw it, my heart broke into a million pieces and I don't think I've ever felt like such a bad mom in my whole life.
