Narrator PoV
A tear slid through Diana's eyes the last memory of her mother still in her head. Diana was walking around, it was going to be her 17 birthday in five days, Diana was not ready for that. All she wanted was to have a adventure and she is willing to get it some way or another. Diana had to live in a foster care centre she was alone she's been there since the death of her mother she remembers the sound of her voice still clear in her head as she told her about never land oh how much would Diana love to go but sadly she could not for she was a human and with that she could not fly.
Diana was always sad yes she masked her emotions but she had to show no weakness.she was a great kick boxer and was black belt in Ty quando. Diana was just on her way to the foster care but she stopped when she saw a light of sparkle coming close to her and then it was high in the sky but something fell from the sparkle it was a little bag, when she looked up the sparkle was gone so she opened the little bag and saw golden dust. Diana stuffed the bag in her pocket and went to the place she didn't like to call home .
Diana went to her room and changed to her pjs then took the little bag, she was cautious when she picked a pinch of dust and sprinkled a pen then it was up in the air floating."I knew you were real" Diana whispered to her self.
Diana realised she could now fly she could adventure, she could go to never land, with that thought in her mind she fell asleep her dreams filled with an island.
Diana woke up the next morning and did her usual routine after this routine she went to get breakfast, Diana was never really friends with the foster kids so she always kept silent. "Omg did you see that girl at the mall she looked so pathetic it's no wonder she has no friends" Diana heard the conversation one of the girls were having it made Diana sick to think how rude people can be .
Afternoon
Diana was walking to a shop were she has seen a map though she thought it was fake she had hopes to think it was a real map to never land . When she went inside she was greeted by an old woman "hello how may I help you"said the lady
"Do you have a map?"Diana said
"Yes I have plenty, but what kind of map?" The lady asked
"A map to go the never land "Diana said hesitantly
The lady looked at Diana and smiled "right this way" she said. Diana followed her and was lead to the back to find a see through glass case inside was a map then she noticed at the corner it said never land. "How much is it?"Diana asked
"It's 90 dollars,but for you it will be 50"said the lady
"Okay thanks for the discount " Diana said and paid for the map and left the store.
DIANA POV
I was really excited I was really going to never land but the stupid part of me didn't think of getting cloths so I forgot all about that I was determined to leave and not grow up I wanted adventure and I'll do whatever it takes to have it. When my mom died I was broken but her stories were telling me to go and not look back to get away from reality or so I thought in my opinion. When I came back to the foster care I was going to leave at midnight when the stars are in the sky and the moon is shining brighter than the sun well maybe not the sun but oh well . I was counting the minutes to midnight it took ages to get to midnight so I figured might as well learn to fly before jumping off a window so I sprinkled some dust on me and I started to fly well maybe not fly but float so I pushing of and once I got the hang of it I was soaring through my room and before I new it 'twas midnight I took one thing in hand and that was my dust I went and opened my window ready to jump but before I did I looked back at the place I hated and smiled I was finally leaving and never coming back I looked the way toward the night sky and jumped off . I started to fly off when I forgot that I did not know how to get there I then realised I forgot the map I went straight back and found the map just lying on my old bed I took it this time it was goodbye for good that was it and I went out and started to read the map, boy this is going to be a long trip.but I was finally having an adventure, something I never thought I'd have but here I am in this moment I made a vow to myself to live life to the fullest even though I knew I never wanted to grow up and wasn't planning to do so.
