COOPER'S POV ♡: it's 3:05 in the morning, and I'm still in the hospital with Rae. I groan slightly as I sit up and check my phone, I have 2 missed calls from Jaden, and 5 messages from my mom. I sigh and ignore it. I look over at Rae and see how peaceful is she when she's sleep. her beautiful brown skin, her highlighted, long, straight, black and red hair falling from her face. she was so fucking perfect. everything about her is perfect. I walk over towards her bed, and gently grab a hold of her hand. With my other, I lightly brush some hair out of her face, and behind her ear. I lean down and kiss her forehead.

it's now 3:50 in the morning, and I hear Rae screaming, "STOP! PLEASE! IM SORRY! GET OFF ME! LEAVE ME ALONE!" My heart sinks as I rush over to her side immediately. she was having a nightmare. And I have no clue on what it's about. "Hey, hey, hey, wake up Rae. it's just a dream, love, it's just a dream."
RAE'S POV ♡: "hey, hey, hey, wake up Rae. It's just a dream." Cooper coos, I'm sweaty, I'm panting, I'm a sobbing mess. I had another nightmare. about my father raping me. it's haunting me. it's stuck on me like a fucking tattoo. I look at cooper with tears streaming down my face, and he pulls me into a tight hug. "I've got you. I'm here" he says gently, rubbing my back in circles. "T-Thank you.." i sniffle, hiccuping a little. He nods at me, with a soft expression in his eyes. "you okay?" Okay." I say giving him a reassuring look. "What were you having a nightmare about..? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to.." he says placing his hand on my shoulder. "It was about my dad.. raping me.. when I was 12."
COOPER'S POV ♡: "it was about my dad.. raping me." 12. Fucking 12. I swear if i could see that man in person, not even god could get me off of him. I'm going to beat the living shit out of him if I ever run into him. My heart aches for her. She's already have been through so much. "I'm so so sorry Rae. you didn't deserve that.." I see her lip start to tremble, and I bring her back into my arms. "Your okay.. your okay.. I promise. he won't hurt you ever again.."

She cries til she falls asleep in my arms. God she was so adorable.. but at the same time.. she needs help. And I'm going to give her that help. By being by her side through every fucking thing. she's so strong even after all the bullshit she's been through. And I would do anything to protect her.

RAE'S POV ♡: it's 8 am and the doctors checking my vitals and everything before they discharge me.
I see cooper and I smile at him. "Thank you. For everything." He smiles and looks down at me, "don't thank me. that's what friends are for, right?"
I giggle and nod.

After I get discharged, he helps me into his car and buckled me in, and gently closed the door for me. He's so fucking sweet it's killing me. He gets in and straps himself in and looks at me, "you hungry?"
I nod, "yessir" cooper laughs, "what do you want? Canes? Cause that's all you talk about. Is their box combo and Texas toast." I roll my eyes. "It's so good! your just a lame." He giggles and playfully shoved my shoulder. "I am not!" Cooper argues with a fake pout. "Are too!" I argue back. "Are not!"
We bicker back and forth til we get in the drive- through.

We get into his apartment, and we eat. After we finish eating, he looks at me. "Wanna watch some Disney plus?" I nodded eagerly and plopped onto the couch. "let's watch.. Luca!" Cooper smiles and shakes his head. "You and this damn Luca." I giggle again. "I love Luca!'it's so sad but so good!"
We watch movies til we fall asleep.
Which resulted him ontop of me.. sleeping on my boobs.
