"Iris get up my mom's home you have to get in the closet or something" Tiny aggressively whispered while shaking me. Tiny what are you talking about I stretch letting out a slight groan. My mom is home from work you have to hide in my closet Iris. I realize what he said and I start to scramble around the room for my things, I get all of my things and hide in his closet. His mom walks into his room to yell about his chores and I try my hardest not to laugh. "Whoever the girl is you brought into my house introduce her to me next time" I hear his mom say making my heart drop. I hear a door close and a shower start to run so I get out of the closet. How did she know I was in here what the hell? "You left your crop top on my bed" he motioned toward the bed.
I'm sorry I don't want you to get in trouble I explained. "It's okay but Twosie wanted to know if you wanted to come with us to see Tazer at the hospital," Tiny asked handing me my shirt off the bed. I can't go I have to hang out with my friends AJ and Angel today. "That's fine... Let me take you home" he added grabbing his car keys and rushing me out of the front door so his mother wouldn't see me. Tiny takes me home, and the whole car ride I can see him staring at me. His staring made me nervous for some reason. We sat in silence for a while until he started asking questions "So how do you know Tazer and Twsoie but this is my first time meeting you" he looks over at me looking for an answer.
My step-sister dates skreamer and one day she introduced me to them but for some reason I didn't see you I shrug. "You don't think that's weird?" he asks pulling up in front of my house. I have school tomorrow but after I'm free why? I grin already knowing what he is going to say. "Maybe you can teach me about some of that spiritual stuff" he utters with a smile on his face. We say our goodbyes and I finally walk into the house, I take a 30-minute shower. I pick out some blue jeans, a white tee, and a long brown cardigan with my brown uggs. (outfit in media) I sit down at my desk and ft Angel and AJ. "What you saying" I see my friend AJ smiling into the camera. "You look goofy AJ" Angel laughs putting on her necklace. So where are we meeting again I ask brushing up my silk press into a high pony. "We are meeting at the AJ's yard" Angel added picking up her phone and keys. "My dad is about to drop me off so I'll see ym there". I say my goodbyes and finish my edges. I walk downstairs to my dad's office to ask him if can I borrow the car. Dad can I borrow the car I ask peeking my head through the door. "Iris I don't care just take it I'm busy right now. He grunted tossing me the keys.
I catch the keys and go to the car, I turn on No Chill by Partynextdoor. Ever since I copped you all that ice you had no chill, no moreee I sing basically screaming the lyrics. It takes me 15 more minutes to get to Aj's house. I text the group chat

I like Angel's message then shut off my phone. 5 minutes go by then I hear a knock on my passenger-side window, I unlock the door. I give Angel and Aj a hug before we figure out where we want to eat. I think we should eat at Seva's last time we went it was good "Nah man last time we went I got food poisoning" AJ response making a face of disgust. "Maybe we can go to this new restaurant called The Eagle the reviews are nice", Angel shows me the restaurant and reviews on her phone they aren't bad at all. I put the address into my GPS and start to drive. I let them take turns playing songs. We get to the restaurant for it to be in a 3-star area it looks five-star worthy. "Hello table for 3, please," Angel asks putting her phone in her purse.
"Right this way my name is Jenna I'll be u Your server for this evening." "The specials are on the front" she smiles handing us our menus then walking away so we can look it over. I'm looking over my menu for a good 5 minutes I start to space out until I hear Angel ask me something. " so you gonna tell me about the boy you were with last night or what?" Angel asked breaking the silence at the table. Damn, aj I wanted to tell her. "Chill I had to tell her and you never told me not to, but how did that go"
It went okay I changed we talked for like 5 minutes then I went to bed nothing major happened but when he took me home we did have a little talk and we are gonna hang out tomorrow after I get back from school. I say giggling about seeing him tomorrow. But angel when I tell you he is lengg I admitted smiling so hard my cheeks started to hurt.
"Oh my gosh, girl you have a crush on him" AJ chimes in mocking my energy. Hold on now don't drag it he's super sweet but I don't know him like that. Nothing is new with me or Angel but Aj is moving in with his dad soon. It makes me happy knowing he is gonna be getting to know his dad more. We finish eating them and head to the car. The whole car ride to Aj's house was so fun. I get home around 11:30 pm, I take my shower and wrap my hair in its silk scarf and bonnet. Camry knocks on my door so I tell her to come in because I know she's not gonna go away.
I turn around to see her face and eyes red. I rush to her to make sure she isn't physically hurt. Camry what's wrong I ask getting more worried by the second "My Nana on my mom's side passed away" she expressed through broken sobs. Aww poor baby I'm so sorry come here. I hug her and let her cry into my arms. It's hard losing someone you care about so much. You can sleep in my room tonight I offered while rubbing her back still letting her cry into my arms. She couldn't even respond verbally so she just shook her head. We sat on my bed and I let her cry on my lap for an hour until I noticed she cried herself to sleep. I gently lift her off of my lap onto the bed, giving her one of the blankets on the bed. I get under the covers, I can hear my phone ding but I'm so tired I just decide to go to sleep and check in the morning.
