(From Author's POV)

It has been a literal 4 years since Riddhi has even smiled in her days. All these days, She has only experienced the bitterly emotion known as 'Depression'.

She hid her most prettiest smile with a pain. She hid her most gorgeous eyes with tears about to prickle. It has been 4 years since Abhishek Sharma & Riddhi Chawla has broke off their relationship.

The flashback is a less needed one cause everyone has their own rights and perspectives to call off their relationship. Neither of them thinks they had moved on but only one in the heaven knows they both are assuming the same.

The festival season has begun and the City was crowded as new bazaars and mela were opened. Riddhi has to walk past in the midst of the crowd to reach the bus stand where she usually rests before catching a bus.

(From Riddhi's POV)

Today was Friday, I was walking my way towards the bus stand. Before that, I had to cross this big crowd. The peoples were crowded like ocean and this crowd gives me a slight suffocation.

As my forehead started to sweat, I paused for a moment and stood next to a stall in the corner and grabbed my water bottle from the bag and had a sip of water. Something from the stall caught my eyes. It was too catchy.

It was then I realised the ring. The Ring gifted by Abhisek long back ago when we were happily dating.
But that was a diamond ring. This was just similar to its design.

I lingered the outline of the ring and I was slowly taken back to the memories. A drop of tear fell on my cheeks.

Shop Keeper : Do you want this dear?

Riddhi : No!

I wiped my tears away. I took the diamond ring from the small box in my bag. I have been safe guarding this for a long time as a memory of his's. I hastily began to walk. I somehow passed the crowded area of the bazaar.

Yet, I felt someone was stalking me. Not just today, but for the past few days. I was so confidential in this matter. This brought a tons of questions and arouse my fear.

I turned to look at the person but there were peoples purchasing in the stall. And one man was wearing a black mask, his clothes were fully covered and he wore a pale green cap. I couldn't find out who he is.

I shrugged my shoulders and began to walk. I somehow reached the bus stand. Two young girls were already waiting including a middle aged man. I stood on contrary side. I leaned my head and brought my finger close.

"Where is the ring?" I started to panick while talking to myself. I searched in my bag but it was nowhere else to be found.

"Did I leave it somewhere? Or incase did it fell off my hand?" I was worried because the ring was so precious and it was close to my heart.

(Flashback From Author's POV)

August 12 was Riddhi's birthday. Once the part thrown by her friends was over. Abhishek took her to a booked restaurant where they both were eating their favourite dishes.

Once they were done eating, Abhishek brought her to the terrace where they were breathing the fresh hair. Abhisek adored the most prettiest girl he had ever seen in his whole life standing before him.

He slowly stood at the back of her and snaked his arms around her waist. He placed his chin on the crook of her neck and smelled the contagious vanilla cologne of her's. Everything of her was so perfect.

"Riddhi! You had somewhat changed my life. You changed me into a better human." He says and Riddhi turns to look at him.

"Did someone beat the centre of your head with a axe?" Riddhi mocked and laughed at him.

"Nope! I am serious. I am an unbothered man. I don't even have time to take care of myself but you gave me a reason to bother about one thing which is you and protect you from all evils which is trying to crave you for." He says and pulled a box from his pocket.

"Abhi-" Riddhi stopped in her middle and her eyes grew wider staring at the stunning diamond ring.

"Don't talk another word. Just wear this." He orders and slid the ring into her fourth finger. That looked so pretty and fitted well into her finger.

(Back To The Present)

As I was so panicked and felt like crying the same stranger boy approached towards me. He came closer and I stopped on my tracks being ready to punch him if he causes any harm to me.

But he had my lost ring and stretched his palm forward. "Your ring was lying on the road. You had by mistake didn't notice that" He says and I took my ring back.

"This is so precious to me. Thank you for returning it to me." I said and smiled at him. I was gazing currently at his disappearing figure.

'Why do I feel like the boy was Abhisek?' I thought.

(The Stranger's POV)

"I am sorry but that won't be enough to what damage I caused in you. Your words were enough for me, my love. I am gayed that you still value me and gave a small space to reside somewhere in the corner of your heart." He wrote on a random white pillar as he left the spot.
