aelia stayed quiet as she held the sleeping direwolf in her lap, it has been four days since she and the two house's had left the north and made their trek back to kings landing. her and the others made small talk here and there, as to where aelia and aemond talked more than the others did. despite being in a confined space, the two somehow managed to keep their voices low between each other and not interrupt any other conversations that could be happening.

"Aelia, my son Jacaerys tells me you named your pup Daenys." princess rhaenyra started, "You know the stories of old valyria?" she asked, shock and confusion filled her tone as she looked at the girl, her youngest son was asleep as he leaned his head in her lap.

aelia looked to the princess, smiling and nodding, "I do! The castle in Winterfell has a fairly small library." she looked down to the direwolf in her lap, softly smiling, "I've always envied House Targaryen. You have dragons."

"When we get back, would you like to see my dragon?" aegon asked as he leaned forward, getting a bit closer to aelia, "Sunfyre is such a beautiful creature." he added, he then looked at aemond, smirking, "What do you say brother, shall we take your betrothed to the dragon pit?"

aelia looked at aemond, seeing how his face twisted into one of pain and anger. she began to wonder, before she could even ask him what was wrong, aegon spoke up, "Oh, that's right. Aemond doesn't gave a dragon."

aelia could see the way his eyes glossed over, he was getting upset. the young stark looked back to aegon, "So what if he doesn't have one. That doesn't mean he will always be without one." she defended aemond. "It's like the saying, 'The Targaryens are closer to the God's than men'. Take away the dragons and you're just like us." she paused, not realizing that everyones eyes were on her, "Normal."

when she finally realized everyone's eyes were on her, she felt herself sink into her seat. the king kept his eyes on her, almost as if he was studying her. "You're well educated, Aelia." the king praised, "Have you ever thought of learning more of our family's history?"

aelia nodded, "Yes, your grace. I've always wanted to learn more about Visenya as well as the Doom of Valyria." the young stark girl stated with a nervous smile.
