The ambulance had reached the bridge. There was no hope of survival for the killer, but they put Nina on the stretcher and put her in the ambulance. She had a very low pulse. The commissioner ordered the cops not to leave the place until the suitcase was found, but they didn't have the slightest idea that it was already gone, in the wrong hands. Her condition was highly critical when the ambulance left the accident site. At that moment, Oswald left that place too. He got in the car and whispered to himself, "I'm coming, Nina."

The thief was speeding along the road when he noticed a car was following him. He pressed the accelerator, but that was futile as the car was approaching him swiftly. He was shocked. 'I took another route instead of the planned one. Then how come I am caught?' He thought. It was due to the tracker that was placed in the van. He drifted to the right and tried to escape, and at that moment, a man hung out from the window of the car and started firing. The glass was shattered badly. The thief was unable to see anything, and then a tire of his van hit a milestone, and the van tossed like a leaf. It was dragged for a few meters.

A gang member went there. He took out the suitcase from the window and looked at him. The shrewd thief was completely drenched in blood. The glass particles protruded from various parts of his skin. He was panting and looked up at the man. "Hey dude, we can talk about this." He managed a smile. The man smiled back and pulled out his pistol. "Well, talk to my gun." He said this and drove bullets into his eyeballs. That man reported back to Oswald, "I've got the suitcase. Where do I drop it?"

"Great! Now leave it at the docks. At the exact place where I told you, do you know that?"

"Yeah, I remember."

"Go on then. Take the suitcase there, and wait for me. Some members are in the warehouse, cleaning that place. There should be no evidence left. After doing that, they'll also rush to the docks. I'll come with or without Nina there as soon as possible and give away your share. There will be yachts so that you can escape from this city."

"Alright, be careful, and please don't get killed."

Oswald interrupted, "Nothing is going to happen to any of us. You just follow my orders if you want money." The call was disconnected. Then he called someone else and said, "Hey doctor, do you have Nina's daughter with you right now?"

"Yeah, I have her with me."

"Good. Reach the address I gave you, right now." He hung up and took a sharp right turn.

The ambulance stopped before the hospital. They got Nina out. The commissioner, Dan, and other cops were rushing along with the stretcher. The doctor was summoned immediately. He went into the operation room along with the nurses, while the commissioner, Dan, and the cops stayed outside. Just then, the commissioner's walkie-talkie buzzed. "Sir, do you copy?"

He picked it up. "Yes, it's commissioner. Copied."

"Sir, we have checked each and every person thoroughly and even sent our divers into the river, but... we didn't find the suitcase."

The commissioner was stunned. That had only happened, which he had feared. He glanced at Dan, who was staring at him blankly. The commissioner guessed right what's bothering him. That suitcase.

He put down his walkie-talkie. Dan was about to question him when the doctor came out of the operation theater. "I'm sorry, sir. We couldn't save her. She was already dead on the way."

"How can you say this?" Dan remarked belligerently. "She was the only heir. Have you checked her properly?"

"What are you saying? I'm a doctor, and this is not the first time I've operated on her. When she had an accident years ago and also fell off the stairs, I treated her. She suffered an injury to her skull, due to which she lost her memory. This time, a bullet struck her spinal cord. I'm telling you, it's late now. I checked her pulse. She is already dead, officer. I advise you to call her relatives and tell them to take her body." He went to the nurse and asked her to prepare the body.
