"Where are you, grandfather?" The figure in black questioned, kneeled and sat in front of a tomb stone, as the figure tried her best not to cry.

"It is alright." A familiar voice softly whispered, "Grandpa?!" She arose glancing at her surroundings, "You must go forth, do not worry about me. I am reunited with an old friend." The voice revealed himself as a transparent figure of what had been her great grandfather.

"Grandpa!" She squealed out of joy, before she ran up to the transparent blue figure.

As the undistinctive whisperings continued, "You must stop them." "Don't let them cross."

"You must move on." His voice continued, as she turned her back, she saw him once again.

"Wait--" Before she could further finish her sentence, the ghost of her great grandfather ran towards her before disappearing, all of a sudden, she arose through the air as she felt a sudden surge of energy run through her veins, before she was gently and carefully placed down.

She stood up, inspecting her hands as to what that weird feeling had been. But she couldn't help but think of her grandfather, she felt happy knowing he was in a better place, with an old friend of his as they we're reunited.

The girl in black walked away from her grandfather's tomb taking one last glance, before she departed away. As she was back on the ninjargon sidewalks, she softly smiled clutching her beaded necklace her great grandfather had gave her when she was simply a young child.

"I'll always remember you, pops." She muttered, before heading into her favorite noodle shop the duo used to visit occasionally as she sat on the same booth table, which was number 3, as she took a seat, she grabbed the menu that had been placed on the middle of the table.

The choices varied, but her favorite had always been Egg roll and fried rice, as she rang the bell on the right of her, a worker came.

"Well, well if it isn't my favorite customer, Talo." The red-haired young woman chuckled, upon seeing Talo but stopped upon not seeing the person she had always been with, "Where's Zhong?"

Talo lowered her head before meeting her eyes, "He's . . in a better place now." Talo responds, trying her best not to let any tears appear, or even fall for that matter.

She lowered her notepad and pen, before putting a sad expression, "Talo, I'm so sorry for your loss."

"No. Please. I-it's fine Skylor."

"Really? After my shift, I have some free time left. I'd like to visit him, what's the loc?"

"It's on Ninjargon boulevard 521." Talo replies, with a smile on her face.

"Got it," Skylor responds, as she finished writing the address on her notes, before ripping it and tucking it in her pockets.

"It's the usual Egg roll and fried rice, mhm?"

"Yeah, here you go--" Talo handed the money to Skylor, who politely declined.

"No, thank you. It's on me." "Sky--" Talo replied, trying to hand her money to Skylor once again, "No, Talo, It's fine really."

Talo sighed before giving a warm smile as a thanks to Skylor, seeing her head to the back to prepare her dish.

She raised her right arm, reading the time of her clock-watch upon seeing it was now close to midnight, a time her great grandfather always warned to avoid when outside, many people had thought the old man was weird, what had been so wrong with the night? Or what really lurks during the night . . .
