Godric's HollowLily Potter wraps the red and yellow blanket around harry, then violet. Harry had beautiful vibrant green eyes, just like his mother but black unruly hair and tan skin just like his father. While Violet, almost a clone of lily, with her bright red auburn hair but she had her father brown eyes, truly a beautiful girl.
As Lily finishes tucking in the two she swiftly makes her way downstairs humming a Hogwarts carol. As she finds herself in the living room she makes her way towards the couch, next to her handsome husband.
She sits down resting her head on James shoulder, welcoming the embrace smiling. "I wish.. This could last forever, y'know? Just me, you, violet, and harry.. Not having to worry about the dark lord or politics."
James stayed silent, knowing that wasn't possible. He was the Lord of one of the most ancient and noble houses of Potter. After staying in Lily's embrace for over an hour, a loud, high pitched cry fills the house, then another. James groans very loudly as Lily stands up and heads upstairs. On que, the wards around the house immediately gets destroyed and the hinges on the door fly off.In that moment James goes into full auror mode, taking out his wand screaming, "Lily! Take Harry and Violet and get out of here!" Lily, on the other hand, races upstairs into the nursery. She slams the door open startling the two already crying toddlers, she quickly picks violet up comforting her and running her hands through violets silky auburn hair.
A very distinct voice shouts and a loud crash can be heard, Lily chokes a sob as she realizes there's no escape. They had practiced multiple times what would happen if they were attacked but they were still unprepared. What could she do? She didn't have her wand nor port key. Footsteps come closer, Lily sets Violet back in the crib, giving her one last kiss before going to her journal writing, "PETER IS TRAITOR" and throwing the book in the crib. Practically running to the door to close it.
Voldemort flings the door open and lily throws herself infront of him, "Please don't hurt Violet or Harry!" She cries out.
"Move aside Woman!"
"No!!"
"Avada Kedavra!" The life that was once in the Red head was quickly taken away. "What a shame, she could have lived happily with Potter if she had just given you two over.. Now then which one of you first?" Voldemort points the wand between them tauntingly.
After going back and forth between the two he stops in front of the girl "Ladies first?".
"No!" Harry shouts, catching the attention of the dark lord.
"Oh? Have brave of you, just like your father!" In one swift flick of his wand and the words "Avada Kedavra!" a bright vibrant green light, the same shade as the twin's eyes, shoots out of the wand, bouncing off of harry, hitting the ceiling, and finally hitting the dark lord.
The dark lord disappears as thecurse hits him only leaving his dark robes behind.
Crack. Crack. Groan. Crash.
The roof above the toddlers bed caves in as chunks of wood and nails fall, one shard in particular hitting Violet Lily Potter on her forehead making a jagged cut, almost looking...like a lightning bolt.

Sirius Orion Black, the best friend of James Potter arrives at the scene first. Seeing a limp but not lifeless body. "Oh my- James!" He cried out before rushing over to his best friend's body to check his pulse, relief flooded him as he felt a slight pulse. Sirius sat there recollecting himself before remembering about Lily and the twins. Not a moment later he rushed upstairs, what he saw truly terrified him. The lifeless body of Lily Amaryllis Potter and no signs of the twins. Where their crib once was was where the roof caved in.
Sirius quickly made his way to where the crib was and with a flick of his wand the rubble disappeared revealing the two twins slightly scratched. Truly a miracle.
Sirius picks the twins up and makes his way back downstairs, setting them on the couch and making his way back towards the unconscious James.
Right on cue the door bursts open, revealing Albus Dumbledore, Minerva Mcgonagall, and Severus Snape.

A week has passed since that night in Godric's Hollow, miraculously James, Harry, and Violet Potter have survived. Only one casualty, Lily Amaryllis Potter. A devastating death, for the wizarding world.
"James my dear boy, may I talk to you about Violet?" Albus asks in a grandfatherly tone. Not minding the fact he just lost the love of his life.
"Dumbledore..?" He croaks, "What about Violet?"
"I believe she is the one who defeated Voldemort, not Lily."
"What are you talking about..?"
"Last week, I believe the curse deflected off of her hitting Voldemort instead, it would explain the strange scar on her forehead. She will grow up to be a great witch, Harry on the other hand I believe is a squib. I sense no magic coming from him."
"You really.. Do you really think so?"
"Yes, I also believe Harry should stay with Sirius. If he stays here, I believe he will grow up to be jealous and turn dark." He says grimly.
James winces at the mention of Lily, before fully processing what Dumbledore said. "What? You want me to abandon my son?!"
"Of course not James! I simply want you to consider leaving Harry with his Godfather while we focus on Violet's training, once Hogwarts begins Violet and Harry can form their sibling bond and he can spend holidays with you!"
"I- I need some time to think about this.. it's all so sudden, and-and Lily.. my dear Lily.." He says before sobbing.
