Once the Royal advisor left Katrina's chambers, Mary and the girls were laughing loudly as they applied make up on one another and tried on dresses that the twins mother had sent over. Mary was spinning around in a dress in the centre of the room with Lola making the rest of the girls giggle at the youngest twin actions.

"Are all these dresses from Paris?" Aylee questioned raising her eyebrows as she put one of the dresses against her body glancing at herself through the mirror. Mary and Katrina both nodded their heads in response as the eldest twin spoke up and informed, "Yes, every one"

Lola smiled brightly at her friends twirling around in a dress and excitedly exclaimed, "Oh If Colin could see me, he'd marry me in a second. I look of age now, we all do" Lola said looking at each one of her friends as Aylee gasped looking at the girls with a knowing look and said, "You know what I'd like to do? Explore. We haven't been here since we were children. Surely the castle's changed. Who's with me?"

"I am" Kenna said agreeing with the blonde as the six girls all made their way out of Katrina's chambers only Katrina stopped in the corridor making Mary look at her sister in concern as she raised her eyebrows and asked, "Katrina, are you alright?"

The Queen nodded her head with a small smile on her face as she looked at her sister and told her, "Go. I'll find you later. There's something I want to see. Mary I'll be fine I promise" Mary sent one last look to her sister before sighing as she turned around to catch up with her friends.

Katrina turned around and started making her way to the top of the castle, climbing up the staircase with a small smile on her face remembering when she was a child and she and Francis would always spend time up here away from everyone else. The Queen made her way to the top of the stairs and sees various children's toys making her shake her head in amusement.

What caught Katrina attention was the sound of creaking in one of the rooms making the Queen furrow her eyebrows walking towards the sound only to see Francis working on weaponry. Francis who heard footsteps heading his way turned his head only to jump slightly startled by Katrina's presence.

"Katrina" Francis gasped in surprise shocked to see the Queen of Scotland standing in front of him making her walk into the room with a smile on her face as she commented, "Francis. It's been awhile since I last saw you. Eight years, if I'm correct"

"Yes" Francis responded nodding his head in confirmation gazing at Esme longingly, "Eight years". Katrina hummed as she eyed him up and down and with a smirk on her face she bluntly told him, " You've grown quite a lot. Last time I was here with my sister I was taller".

Francis shook his head in amusement as he quietly laughed at the brunette commented who was standing on the opposite side of the table examining the swords in front of her as he furrowed his eyebrows, "What are you doing here?" Francis asked in curiously.

"I wanted to explore. Everything changed from last time I was here. These were mine and Mary's rooms. Don't you remember?" Katrina asked with a warm smile on her face turning to look at Francis who shook his head and informed, "Not anymore. No one comes up here"

Katrina chuckled lightly at his comment as she tilted her head to the side and sarcastically said, "Clearly, Well except you of course." Making Francis chuckle at the witty comment as he watched her examine the weapons on the table, "are all these yours? There amazing" Katrina said picking up a sword examining it in awe and amazement.

"I-I make knives, and swords. At least, I'm trying to learn" Francis informed making a smile appear on the Queen face as she turned her attention back onto Francis and amusingly asked, "To be a bladesmith? Is that a requirement for future kings now?"

Francis sighed shaking his head looking down at the swords on the table and exclaimed, "When you say it like that, it sounds ridiculous, yes" Katrina shook her head and softy told him, "No, no, I think it's brilliant, unique even. But did you make all these? Why?" Katrina asked in curiously and fascination.
