chapter 7 the date

Tanvi pov

*soon after surgery I came and lay on the sofa . I was too exhausted. Suddenly I remembered blind date . I looked at time and realised I missed it. Now mom is going to scold. I took my phone to call  her orelse she will kill me. When I opened my phone and saw so many message. I opened those messages.

Maa-  where are u lil girl it's been 2    
          hours
                                                       
Maa- it's almost time for ur date

Maa- the date has postponed it seems      ur date had some work too go to xxxxx cafe

Me- maa I am here sorry it was a long surgery  . Can u forgive me 🥺🥺

Maa typing........

Maa-its okay just bcs u won't miss it... Now get ready.... Orelse🔪🔪🔪

Wow now my mom is also threatening me? I am a poor soul why everyone bullies me *overacts*

Me-fine fine bye

I kept my phone back and just went to wask my face in the washroom and  I came back  and started wearing saree

"Oh shit idk how to " Sighs and takes phone and opens YouTube. A solution for every problem. Puts a video after whole 45 mins it became somewhat proper ig so. Why my mom just takes 20 mins me almost one hour....  I saw tte time it was 2:30 . Mom told me the date was at 3 so I quickly took my purse and went outside. I  took a taxi and went to my destination.

I went inside the  hotel . It's fancy I saw the time it was almost 2:50 . Where is he?  Soon it was 3:00 . It's my first time seeing a man late *sighs*
I was hungry I ordered myself  a juice
And scrolling through my phone.

Siddharth pov

I was sleeping soundly. I heard my alarm ringing I freezed it bcs I was too much tired. I slept for few minutes and woke up suddenly . Saw the  time. "Shit!! It's 2:50" I woke up quickly and washed my face And went outside and drove towards the locations and my father had messaged me that he had sent me the photo I quickly went inside the cafe. The image was loading so I asked the waiter abt the table which my father had reserved. When going near to table I noticed someone. Wait it's Tanvi? Even her date is coming here? Wahh..she also noticed me  and gave me surprising smile and soon she checked phone and her reaction was smthng like she was shocked and again she looked at me and came near me. Suddenly the image was also downloaded. As soon as I saw the photo "wtf " I cursed in my mind but I was happy idk why bcs the girl is Tanvi......

Tanvi pov

I was waiting for him it was 3:25 brotha he was late for 25 minutes what's such a great work he would have.. I don't even know what he looks like or whatever how am I able to find him in this huge place .

A message popped. I looked at it. My mother sent me photo. Thank god otherwise idk how I can recognize him. The photo is taking time to load while looking around  I spotted  siddharth wait what is he doing here . I smiled at him. He too gave me tte smile. The image downloaded and I saw the  image" whattt! " My internal mind screamed he is my date. I looked at him and saw him looking at his phone with shocking expression..

He came near to me with a awkward smile and sat in front of me. We didn't talk for damn whole 10 minutes. Until the waiter came to take our order. I will thank the waiter later..

Waiter- what would u like to have ?

We decided to order a lunch since we didn't had time to have it

I decided to break the silence "it's getting awkward"

"Yeah.... Idk what to say " He said while scratching his neck.

"Mee too" Laughs lil bit.

"What do u think of this date I mean me. "

"I honestly dk but i would like to give it a try. Without trying  we can't say anything right  that's my opinion " I say while looking down.

"I too think it's best idea but u know right marrying me means u have an extra responsibility of taking care of ruhi. You will have a responsibility of being a mother not only being a wife or daughter in law"

I take a long breath "I can. Atleast i will try. But are u interested in this marriage"

"Idk I am just.... Uk like my daughter never saw her mother so I am marrying mainly bcs of her. She needs a mother's love " Looks at me

"Hmm... Umm" Food arrives. Thank god I didn't knew what to answer

"Let's dig in" I changed topic

Soon we started to eat without talking we were both hungry . Idk abt him but I was food is my therapy, my friend evey thing. We just continued to eat and  Soon everything  on the table finished so quick. No doubt cause we had a long surgery ...

Siddharth pov

Not  gonna lie I was happy when I came to know my date was tanvi I don't know but my heart just fluttered when she said those words that she will try....  No no siddh remember u are just for ur daughter and no one else matters to u except ur daughter..... But still man.. Really she is looking gorgeous....

When the waiter brought bill  and I payed the bill and we went out of the restaurant."so now? " Tanvi said in awkward voice.

"Id-.. " When I was about to speak I  was interrupted by call. "Sorry let me pick up the call" I said and received the call

"What happened  maa? " I asked her

" Hey beta are u still with tanvi? "

"Yeah we just finished our lunch and came out of the restaurant . Is smthng wrong? "

"Actually ruhi is not listening she is saying she wants to meet her new mother and whining and not ready to have to lunch"

"But - "I was interrupted by Tanvi
" It's okay. I am ready to meet her"she said with smile. I smiled back at her
"Maa we will come in 20 minutes"
I cut the call and we both sat in car and started driving

"Are u sure u want to meet her? " I asked

"Yep.. Since she wants to see me then why won't unless u dont want to " She said with small laugh

"Not like that "soon after few minutes we reached home. " Let's go inside"I took her hand and took her inside the house and  going near my ruhi..

I saw ruhi not eating the luncha nd my mother is trying her best to feed her "ruhi " I said with smile and I saw ruhi running towards us with smile. I saw Tanvi . Wait why is she crying.??
