One piece My Hero (Heat x Tessa)

Chapter 1: The crew

(A/N: I hope you enjoy this story, this is my first  full fanfic so I hope that you all like it if you want to you can leave a comment about it.)

    Tessa's P.O.V.

"Heat you need to leave and save yourself." I said leading him to the docks.

"Tessa I'm not going to leave you alone with that creep, even if it kills me." Heat said trailing right behind me.

"Heat you need to I'm trying to save your life here, please, I will join you once I get rid of roman." I said giving Heat a hug.

As I made my way towards Kid's ship I started to phase back and forth between my power and myself. 

When I got to the dock Kid saw me and asked where I was and what took Heat and I too long to get back.

I decided to explain everything to him about what happened and when I mentioned to him about Heat, he told me he would think about Heat's request then I collapse from the blood loss and fever I had.

Next day Heat's POV

"Tess, did you hear, kid wants to see you change into your animal form, to prove you are worthy to be in the crew." I said happily.

While I showed the captain of the kid pirates how strong I was and am, he finally said yes and I was finally welcome into the crew. 

It took about two and a half hours to prove my strength to him and yet he still let me join his crew. 

After the first week or so I ended up not being able to turn back into my human form so most of my fights were easy and wasted less time for transforming into my kitten form.

"Tessa." Killer said as he approached me.

"Yes?" I asked looking at him.

"How can you fight so easily without transforming?" Killer asked curiously.

"Well I have no idea how or why so I really couldn't tell you." I said jumping into Killer's arms.

"Wait did you just speak, hey Heat did you know that this adorable kitten talks?" Killer asks curiously.

"Um...well I sort of did sort of didn't but if she did than I must have missed it." Heat said rubbing his arm.

Later that night

As everyone was going to bed Heat and I were playing until we were tired and ready to fall asleep so we played then talked then played again. 

Heat started to get drowsy and started to fall asleep so I nudged his face with my head just to get him to go to bed. 

Thunder rumbled causing me to jumped up and on to Heat's bed yet I failed which caused Heat to pick me up and set me on the pillow, and he ended up putting his head next to me which was relaxing a lot.

"Good night Tess." Heat said kissing the top of my head.

'Good night Heat.' I said while licking his nose.

"I'll see you in the morning Tess." Heat said with a smile and falling asleep.

"Meow." I said purring.

BOOM.POP.FISSS.

"MEOW." I yelped waking up Heat.

"Hey, shhh, it's ok Tessa your safe with me." Heat said cradling me to calm me down.

"Good night Tessa, I will make sure that your safe." Heat said cuddling me in his arms and fell asleep with his back against the wall.

"Meow, meow, meow." I said purring and liking his face and the tip of his nose.

"You are soooo cute and adorable Tess." Heat said falling asleep with me curling up on his waist.

The next morning Tessa's POV

"Hey Tessa wake up let's go get food." Heat said trying to wake me up.

"OW what the ----." Heat said sitting on the floor.

'Did I just get hit in the face back hand with a hand'. Heat thought standing up with help from killer and kid.

"Oi Tessa wake up damnit." Kid said startling me.

"AHHH, ow, what the f---." I said hiding under Heat's bed realizing that I had changed back without trying.

"Hey your back to normal Tessa, sweet." Heat said pulling me out from under the bed.

"Hey princess, this came for you today I didn't open it so here." Kid said.

"Two things, 1. Please don't call me that, and 2. Thanx." I said.

"Your welcome." Kid said.
