Samuel awakes from his daydream, his hands handcuffed behind his back as he stares at the passing by trees and the rain pattering against the hood of the cop cruiser. This is how it was. He was being transported to a maximum-security prison to accommodate his needs... Or more like keep everyone else safe. Sam looked down at the floor of the cop cruiser, he was already planning on a way to escape.

It looked to be around 9pm, it's been 4 hours since he was taken into custody of the police, 4 hours of long driving, which made Samuel a little antsy, as usually they would've had a police station nearby, but Samuel's thoughts came to an abrupt end as the cop car stopped and the cop got out, roughly opening Samuels door and grabbing the back of his shirt to bring him out of the vehicle.

"Come on work with me here, get the hell out." The officer groans as he roughly moves Samuel inside the building and sits him down in a holding cell still in handcuffs.

The officers talk amongst themselves, and Samuel can faintly hear them talking about transferring him to the Maximum-Security prison in an hour or so. Samuel leaned his head against the cold cement wall, and thought about his earlier fight with Marcus, and how he felt so... lonely and so... desperate. Just thinking about Marcus made his heart thump in anticipation for what could be, but he knows it will never actually happen, he's a villain, Marcus is a hero, its simple.

Samuel grunted in anger, and banged his head gently against the wall, and shook away the feelings, he knew that when he eventually got out of this "Maximum-security" prison he would kill Marcus, that's a fact.

(Marus POV)

A couple days later, everyone is still gloating around Marcus, and Marcus takes all the fame and the glory for capturing and beating the villain Samuel, and he's swarmed by interviewers, fangirls, the press, and anyone with the news. He slyly slips out of the grasps and finds a nearby alleyway to hide away from them in. Being a hero was tiring, fans would always come and ask for autographs, though Marcus had no problem giving them, being asked for one while he was trying to work got annoying after a while.

Marcus walks back to his house, a large modern looking house set in the hills, trees surrounding the end of the property line, and a large brick gate blocking anyone else from driving or walking down the path any further. Marcus unlocked the gate with a keycard and continued walking to his house. The pathway swirled and cut into two and led to his large garage which was pretty much the size of a middle-class family's house, and it held his treasured vehicles. Marcus looked around the house, it felt so empty. Marcus wished he had someone to share it with instead of being alone all the time.

Marcus entered the house, a large marble staircase leading up to the second floor was the main scene the moment you enter the house. Marcus walked to the left, and entered the kitchen, and grabbed a cup, and filled it about halfway with water.

He stood there pondering the events of the day as he took a small sip of the water, and then closed his eyes for a second.

His thoughts flooded with thoughts of Samuel, and it was horrible. Marcus slammed down the cup of water, about to walk away when he heard his phone on the counter chime, it was a news article, "RECENT NEWS!! ATTENTION ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT THE VILLAIN SAMUEL HAS ESCAPED ONCE AGAIN! BE ON THE LOOKOUT." Marcus choked on his own spit, and his eyes went wide as he stared at the screen, he didn't know how Samuel managed to escape a Maximum-Security prison, but he did and now he's out.

The media was loud for a few days, every social media website flooded with Samuel's escape, and the streets were empty in fear of being killed.

Marcus stepped outside in the cool autumn breeze, it was nighttime, the streetlights providing a nice lighting along the sidewalk and across the streets in dim yellow-orange strips of light. Marcus looked around his large house and went to the back porch to sit on his patio and just let the night engulf him in its sounds and gusts of wind.

He sat in his patio chair and stared up at the night sky, the stars being extremely visible tonight. Marcus looked at the lines of the stars and pointed out The Big Dipper to himself silently, that is until he heard a twig snap. His body jolted up and his head snapped towards the direction the sound came in.

It could've been a deer, they had a lot of those around, but this was heaver, almost if it were from a human.

He shifted his gaze to a rustling behind another tree, it sounded almost like walking. "Show yourself!" Marcus yells out, and stares into the darkness.

No movement was made, as if whoever it was, was playing games with him.

(Samuel POV)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Samuel had spent the past couple of days searching for Marcus, he wanted to kill him so badly, so what was this other feeling? Hatred? guilt? Samuel didn't know, and he didn't care. He wasn't worried about any other person for the time being, everyone else had a nauseating thought about them to Samuel, his mind completely set on finding Marcus.

Eventually Samuel had found Marcus's large mansion of a house and had scoffed at the size of it.

"Of course, the hero is living in this mansion of a house, why wouldn't he? the hero gets everything don't they" Samuel mutters to himself as he walks the perimeter and makes his way around the forest like barrier. He eventually makes it to the back of the house, where the patio was. He noticed Marcus sitting on a chair looking up at the stars, pointing out the constellations to himself, and he chuckled to himself, how easy this would be, but there went Samuel's heart again, thumping out of his chest as if it were about to burst out of his throat. Samuel took a few deep breaths of fresh air trying to clear his mind slightly, and he continued walking, lost in thought. He was snapped out of his thoughts when he noticed that he stepped on a stick.

He ducked down into the bushes, making himself completely hidden from anyone's view.  Samuel's breath hitches in his chest, hoping he wasn't caught, and that Marcus didn't see him. When he thought he was in the clear he continued walking, but he noticed Marcus was getting a little antsy, so he continued to mess with him. Samuel heard Marcus shout "Show yourself", as he stared into the darkness and Samuel let out a little chuckle. Samuel didn't make himself known but he continued around the house until he reached an open window, and he climbed inside, shutting the window slowly.

He looked around the house in astonishment, it was huge. Samuel found a place to sit until Marcus entered the house again, where he'd take Marcus by surprise. Samuel finds a decent spot, and he sits and waits.
