At the Taylor home, Y/n was sitting on the couch finishing some homework. Julie was also on the couch with her feet on her brother's lap as she was still reading. His dad was sitting in another area watching game tape for Friday, Y/n then heard his mom start talking.

Tammy: Alright, listen to this, y'all. Large, bright, family home nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac, three large bedrooms, a pool, and his and her closets. His and her closets.

Eric: Relent.

Tammy: I'm just sayin'.

Eric: I know, I know what you're saying.

Tammy: Darling, his and her closets.

Y/n: What about a son and daughter closet, preferably a walk-in closet.

Tammy: If I can't get one, neither can you.

Julie: Moby dick is actually the perfect metaphor for this town. The cold black sea representing the season in all its uncertainties. Dad.

Eric: What?

Julie: The magical white whale is the Holy Grail. State championship.

Eric: Yeah.

Julie: The boat, I mean, the whalers are the team, right? The players and the coaches. Smash Williams is Queequeg, the hulking, African Zulu, harpoon-hurling whale killer?

Eric: Who's that make me? Coach Ahab?

Julie: Absolutely... coach, captain, hunter, hunted.

Y/n: And who am I?

Julie: Your Starbuck.

Y/n: Don't know know if that's good or bad.

Tammy: Mm-hmm, his and her closets.

Julie: Driven to catch what may be uncatchable.

Eric: I'm not so sure you're mine. I'm gonna have to order up a DNA test on you.

They smiled at each other as Y/n laughed.

Tammy: Did you hear me?

Eric: If we can see over this front line, and not bite at those counters, we may just capture that fish.

Tammy: His and hers closets, baby. Whoo-ooh!

TUESDAY....

Y/n was doing his morning jog, as he was jogging he passed a house and saw Lyla outside. She saw him and smiled and waved.

Lyla: Hey Y/n.

Y/n: Hey Lyla.

Lyla: Going on your morning jog.

Y/n: You know it. What are doing out here.

Lyla: I just came to get the mail before going to school.

Y/n: You know I was so wrapped up in my jog I forgot we even had school.

Lyla laughed as she looked at him.

Y/n: So where's Jason

Lyla: Oh you know him, always somewhere, doing something.

Y/n: Yea I forgeted that.

Lyla: You should really be doing all the things he does, Your just as much a start as him.

Y/n: I am, but not everyone cares.

Lyla: Well I care, mister number one. You shouldn't let others dismiss you skills, your one of the best, and everyone should know it.

Y/n smiled as Lyla sacred at him.

Lyla: Well I'll see you at school, Y/n.

Y/n: By Lyla.
