Chapter 6 | I wish I was like you...

Akutagawa P.O.V

I was sleeping peacefully until I rolled over and fell off the couch and hit my head at the table.

Damn that hurts.

I got up and pulled out my phone. Right,today is my free day.

I headed towards the bedroom to change before all the memories flooded back from the past day. I stopped in my tracks and just stood there.

Why did he even hangout with me in the first place? To tell me how 'perfect' Lucy is? She's pretty,she can cook and they have much in common,come on Atsushi! Just marry her already if she's so 'perfect'!

I felt my blood boiling inside and punched the wall,what I soon regretted.

Ouch! My hand's bleeding and the wall is slightly cracked.

Why me? Why did I have to fall in love with that asshole furry?!

I wanna make Sushi out of this guy! Then he would at least fit his name.

Would he had more interest in me if I was prettier?

Or does he need someone nicer?

I took out my phone and called a certain ginger.

"Junichiro...can we meet up?" I said but my tone was slightly sad

"Sure,I guess something happened?" He asked.

"Yes...can we meet in the park around the corner?"

"Yeah,sounds good,I'll be there in 5 minutes." Then he hung up.

I turned around and left the house,walking to the park.

As soon as I reached the park,Junichiro ran up to me and took me in his arms. "What happened?" He asked worried.

I stayed silent for a few seconds before I started explaining what happened yesterday.

"Maybe...you should forget about your feelings for him...?" He whispered.

My head snapped up. What? Forget about my feelings for him?

"That wasn't ok what he did,hanging out with you,only talking about someone else and then just leaving. Don't you think you deserve better?" He tilted his head slightly.

He was right,that definitely wasn't okay...but I'm not ready to let go,not yet.

"I still wanna try,I'm not ready to give up on him..."

"But-" he started but I didn't let him finish.

"Please...just let me try...I'll give up when he rejects me..." I pleaded.

He let out a sigh and looked directly into my eyes. "I can't change your mind,hm? Then fine."

I wrapped my arms around him and pressed myself against him. A hug had never felt better. "Thanks!"

And with that it was settled. I'll try and confess and give up when he rejects me.

"Wanna do something together? The agency gave me a free day and my sister is hanging out with Higuchi."
(No Naomi x Higuchi! They're just best friends! I thought they get along because they're both the same from the personality)

"Sure,I have a free day as well. We could sit here and talk."

"Alright then." He let go of me,took a step back and sat down on the bench.

I followed right after and sat down next to him. "Maybe we should get to know each other better...our first meeting was...uh...special? Sorry about almost killing you and your sister by the way..."

"No worries,you were doing your job and besides,I know you changed." He smiled.

"Thank you...for the help and your kindness..."

After that we just talked for hours and then we both went home.
