You sighed and leaned back against him.

Copia wrapped his arms around you, holding you close to his chest. He felt a rush of determination, an unwavering resolve to make sure you were safe, to get rid of the hold Lilith had on you.

"We'll get through this," he murmured, his voice filled with reassurance. "I won't let anything bad happen to you. I promise."

"Copia? Did you like the dream?" you asked.

Copia froze for a moment, his heart skipping a beat at your unexpected question. He wasn't sure how to answer. The dream... it had been intense, even pleasurable. But it had also been a dream, nothing more.

He felt conflicted, torn between his guilt and his desire. He looked at you hesitantly, a mixture of guilt and uncertainty on his face.

"I..." he began, his voice catching in his throat. "I... Yes, I did..."

You sighed..."But she really looked like me, didn't she?"

Copia's face flushed again, a mixture of shame and guilt. He knew she had taken your form in the dream. He felt like dirt, a disgusting excuse of a Papa.

"Yes," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "She looked... looked like you..."

"What if she had looked like Lilith?" you asked.

Copia's expression darkened, a mixture of anger and disgust on his face at the thought. "I... I don't know..." he said quietly, his voice trembling.

The thought of being intimate with Lilith in any way repelled him. He wanted you, only you.

He wrapped his arms around you, holding you close. "But I wouldn't have," he insisted, his voice firm. "No matter what form she took, I wouldn't have. I only want you, never her."

"Sorry, that was a stupid question... but I felt so... jealous in my dream... seeing her with you," you said.

Copia's expression softened as you spoke. He could understand your jealousy, and he felt a pang of guilt for causing it, even if it was only in a dream.

He reached out and gently lifted your chin so he could look into your eyes. "It's all right," he said softly. "It's natural to be jealous, mia cara. But I want you to know there is nothing to be jealous of. You are the only one I want."

"My heart broke when I saw you two...it was like I could feel it ripping apart in my chest...I tried to scream at you and her...but I couldn't form words...it was like...she froze my body to punish me...to have to see it...."

Copia's expression became pained as you described the dream. He could feel your heartache as you spoke, and it only made him feel more guilty.

He pulled you closer, wrapping you in a tight embrace. "I can only imagine how painful it must have been for you," he whispered, his voice filled with remorse. "I'm so sorry you had to go through that, mia cara. I'm sorry you had to see that horrible scene."

"Although it is stupid, right...we only had one date...I mean, you could do whatever you wanted...you're a free man!" you laughed, looking down at your hands.

Copia shook his head at your words, a slight frown on his face. "No," he said firmly, his voice stern. "It's not stupid to feel sad or jealous, no matter how long we've been together. And I may be a free man... but I don't want to be with anyone else."
