Word spread quickly among the team, and reactions were mixed. Some were supportive, others unsure, and a few openly opposed. The Initial tension was palpable, making the work environment uncomfortable.
One of the more vocal opponents was Inspector Shreya, who approached Abhijeet and Vivek during a meeting. “I just don’t understand how this can work. Our job is dangerous, and relationships like this… they complicate things.”
Vivek spoke up, his voice steady. “Shreya, we understand your concerns. But our relationship doesn’t change our commitment to our work. If anything, it strengthens it.”
