Byul, who was seated on the floor because of the captain, was wide-eyed when she saw Seokjin and Jungkook in front of her.

"Seokjin!!"

"Jungkook!!"

"Let's start the proper deal now?"

The captain giggled and laughed at them.

Looking at Seokjin and Jungkook, Byul wept from the pent-up longing for them, the slight relief that she might be able to go back, and the guilt that they had come this far because of her.

Seeing Byul shedding tears quietly, Seokjin wanted to run and hug her. Jungkook, who always thought of Byul as strong, was also very worried when he saw her crying.

"Captain Kim, now that you've confirmed her safety, give us our money"

The captain gestured as if to hurry up. Byul shook her head, indicating no. Seokjin gave Byul a reassuring look.

"If you want the money, release her" Seokjin insisted.

"No more deals. Give the money first" The captain replied firmly.

The man no longer seemed to intend to do Seokjin a favor. When Seokjin and Jungkook hesitated, he placed a knife against Byul's neck as if he were about to cut her throat.

"If you don't give the money, she dies"

With those words, the knife began to graze her skin, blood started to flow slightly over her pale skin, and Byul grimaced in pain.

"STOP!" Seokjin shouted, but his words didn't stop him.

"I'll give you the money right now" Seokjin said.

Finally, the captain removed the knife from her neck, and blood trickled down her neck.

"Captain Kim, what will you do? Are you really going to give them the money?" Jungkook whispered softly next to Seokjin so the others couldn't hear.

"Captain Moon's safety comes first. Let's prioritize her safety and deal with the rest later"

"You trust me, right?" Seokjin whispered back, smiling lightly.

"Yes, of course"

"Stop talking among yourselves and just give me my money!" the captain glared at them impatiently.

"Alright. Here it is" Seokjin took the money bag from Jungkook and slowly approached them.

Byul felt uneasy watching this. She thought the man would take the money and run, pretending to release her.

As this thought crossed her mind, Byul unconsciously moved her body. Her hands and feet were bound, so she couldn't move much, but it was enough to catch the captain's eye.

"What are you doing?" He grabbed her hair roughly, Seokjin paused at her unexpected movement.
