The day had finally come. Initiation day. This was a day celebrated among the village where a girl lived named Lumina. The day that the Gods and Goddesses chose which human would assist them for the next fifty years. That day, after being forced by your mother to attend the choice ceremony, you stood in the corner of the lavish meeting hall. Inside, mortals crowded around their Gods. Most sought their attention, or a chance to be chosen. However, for some strange reason, they kept looking your way.

The girl held her drink and stayed where she was a sigh esapes her lips she stopped liking the festival 3 years ago. She stopped beleving in the gods she did lean against the statue of Appolo a violation mortals were not allowed to touch the statues. "this is dumb" As she stood leaning against the statue of Apollo, a soft, calming music seemed to fill the room, and for a moment it was hard to tell exactly where it came from. The entire hall seemed to be filled with the sound, but somehow it felt... personal... The music seemed to change tempo, and a calm, velvety voice spoke up behind her. "You seem different from your friends, dear... You look almost... bored." She heard the sound she pushed herself off of the stand of the statue trying to look for the sourse of the heavenly music she heard. She froze for a moment before turning her head around to the voice ehe heard her eyes widen stepping backward. "Because i am, there is nothing to do here besides staring at statues" she took a step back from the man.

The man chuckled a soft laugh. "Oh, I see." He slowly moved towards her, his feet seeming to almost glide across the floor. He moved silently, almost like a spirit. "And what makes a pretty girl such as yourself so easily bored in a place such as this?" He continued to take slow, calculated steps towards her, a sly grin on his face. She looked the man up and down she squints her eyes, was he glowing People around them look over and begsn to bow right away "I was forced to be here, look mister gods arent real!" She dared to tell him straight to his face people gasp hearing her eith such a loose tongue. The man chuckled once again, amused by her boldness. "Not real?" He continued his approach, closing the distance between the two of them. His golden eyes seemed to glow as much as his skin. "And what makes you so sure?" He stopped a mere two feet from her, his eyes locking to hers, almost as if he was inspecting her.Her pale blue eyes gaze back into his eyes it was like she got in trance by his butter like voice his glowing body and eyes "Because i wished upon the gods ehen i was little but no one .. awnserd my call to help ... my father" She was slightly trembling but stayed her ground lifting up her chin. He raised an eyebrow, his gaze not leaving hers. "And you truly don't believe the Gods to exist, because you didn't get the one thing you asked for?" He stepped slightly closer, their chest almost against each other. He leaned his head down a bit to be more on eye level with her. "And why do you think you weren't answered? That your cries...went unheard?"

She was a head shorter then him her face barely reached his chest "because no one cared about us" "Because we are humans" she said taking another step back but was met with a pillar in her back. Her breathing sped up people kept staring at them interested if the god Appolo would punish her for being a brat. The man kept the smirk on his face as she was pressed up against the pillar, trapped between the cold, stone structure and himself. He lifted a hand up to cup her chin, forcing their gazes to remain locked. He looked amused by her fear, as if he relished her discomfort. "And yet," he began, his voice becoming a bit more deep and velvet-like. "You are here in my presence, telling me the Gods aren't real... Tell me, girl... What is your name?" Her lips was slightly pushed together as he cupped up her chin and cheeks her eyes were moving every way to look into his face she lifter her hand to grab his wrist. She felt how warm his fingers felt on her pale skin she opens her mouth speaking "My name is L-lumina starstruck" her voice was full of trembling fear.. she knew who he was "who are you then?" He could feel her trembling, and let out a low, amused hum as he watched her with his intense, glowing eyes. "Lumina..." he repeated, a sly grin coming across his face. "Lumina Starstruck... A fitting name for such a pretty girl." His voice was smooth and velvety, almost hypnotic."And to answer your question, my dear... You are speaking with Apollo, the God of music, light, and healing. The God of the sun, and much more."
