² ° unexpected

Irene pov.

"cmon girl I know damn well you can do more than that !" my teams trainer, alex tells me as I do my last squat on the squat rack.

i push myself with tears practically coming out of my eyes and do 2 more.

I put the bar back on the rack while breathing loudly with my hands on my hips. "good job, goggles." Alex says while dapping me up.

"alright guys practice is over, ofcourse you may stay if you would like but I'm heading out ! see yall tomorrow !" coach Mira says while walking out.

we all say our byes as she closes the door to the private gym.

Akira comes up to me as I walk over to the locker room. "heyyyy, wanna hang out today?" she asks while throwing a towel over her shoulder.

I smile at her, "sure ! your house or mine ?" I ask, "yours ! I wanna stream later" she says with a teethy smile as I grab a towel and go to the showers.

"okay that's fine, can your mom drive us ?" I ask as I take off my shoes, socks and take down my hair.

"yeah ofcourse ! Just make sure to wait for me when you finish" akira says as both of us get into seperate showers and undress.

when I finish my quick shower and dry up, I dress as I wait for Akira as I take way shorter showers than her.

I put on some camo jorts and a black tube top. I go over to the hair dryers and blow dry my hair.

I put my hair into 2 loose braids and take out my makeup bag from my backpack that was on top of the counter infront of the large mirrors.

I moisturize my face and put on sunscreen that had a small tint to it. i curl my lashes as I hear Akira walking towards me fully dressed.

I finish curling my lashes and put on a small bit of mascara. as Akira does her hair I spray myself with perfume.

she puts creams in her hair and let's it air dry as I put all my stuff back in my bag. I take out my phone and lean on the counter.

Akira continues to finish up as I scroll through youtube, looking at the comments of the new video that I edited.

"holy shit the videos doing so well" I say as I look at the views that were over 6 million.

"really ? let me see" Akira says as she puts her stuff away in her bag and leans over to look at my phone.

her eyes widen at the videos views, and gain in subscribers for the team.

"Oh my god ! it is doing so well ! holy shit good stuff babe," she congratulates me and smiles.

"thank you !" i say, "my moms here, you ready to go ?" she asks, I nod as I put on my backpack and start walking out with Akira, chatting about random things.

we leave the gym and are automatically hit with the humid air of texas.

I take a long breath out as I control my breathing from the heat.

i wave to her mom as we see her pull up in her car. she comes to a stop and both of us get in the cars backseat.

I smile at her mom in the mirror as I greet her, "good afternoon Mrs. Amba ! how are you doing ?" I ask.

"oh I'm doing amazing, thanks for asking, how was practice today girls ?" she asks, her light accent showing.

she starts to drive while turning up the fans of the ac.
