Chapter 2

* Spencer POV*
I woke up with a sigh as I stretched I looked at the clock and saw it was 6:00 in the morning. I groan knowing only my dad will be up. I gently untangle my girlfriend from me kiss her forehead and walk downstairs to the kitchen seeing my dad

" hey Dad" I whisper quietly

" hey son morning," he said quietly

Yesterday was a rollercoaster travis went to go get his son and ex then they got stuck at a barbershop with this family. While they did that, my girlfriend Maddison and Nick were there. Nick was complaining about being in pain so I got tired of it and stormed upstairs to my infinite bag and grabbed the drugs he needed and gave it to Maddison. He then crushed them up saying this was the fastest way and it wasn't enough and needed more Maddison then said it Would last till we got to the dessert and left to try to call Travis I then told my dad it was happening he just rubbed his forehead and nodded in shock that it's starting. Later that night we went to Su Su's place to get a shotgun I don't know why I have my pistols my bow and my katana but we went anyway. Then things turned the worst my girlfriend decided to go back because we forgot to get the ammo and and the way back su su grabbed her leg I instantly grabbed her and pulled her to me. When we went inside I then saw the walker I instantly pulled it my katana and did a little trick then I stabbed it in the head instantly killing it. Once it was down I flicked my katana and the blood came off I then put it away and turned towards the family and seeing them looked shocked even the new people did. I shrugged and walked away I needed to do it to protect my girlfriend I'll do anything to protect her. I went upstairs to my girlfriend's room and I went inside my backpack that I also brought I had cleaning supplies for my guns bow, and katana.
When Travis came back with a family the mother was hurt and Travis asked me to heal the mother heal her and I did but I couldn't do it all because if I did it would drain me so I only did a little. When I was doing it they looked at me as crazy because they had never seen anything like that then they asked me in Spanish how I did that all I said my powers are a gift from god they thanked me for doing as much as I can lot when I was leaving I said no problem and left to go lay down healing a wound that big and as bad as it was it drains me but I got it done

Today

" so what happened today son," my dad asked quietly

" su su husband comes today and almost bites him then the military comes just in time that's all I remember from the vision I had before we came here, " I said quietly as I used my powers to make solar panels on the roof

"What did you do?" He asks as he sees me use my powers

" I made solar panels appear on the roof because they will turn off the power and turn it on power on a schedule," I said with an eye roll

He nodded and started to drink his coffee again

" I am going to go for a run and yes I will have my katana on me And yes I will be careful and yes I will be back before the military gets here, " I say to my dad

He just chuckled and nodded knowing he was going to ask those questions. I then go back up to my girlfriend's room quietly and get dressed into my workout gear then quietly go downstairs then leave. Once I am outside I start stretching keeping my eyes out for walkers I then start my running I usually run 6: from 30 to 9:30 but I have been back because we are leaving for the desert at 10:00

After my run

I am currently running back to my girlfriends it is currently 9:00 and I am a couple of miles from my girlfriends so I activate the speed I have and start running with my speed and make it to my girlfriend's place by 9:50. Once I make it I instantly start jogging to the door and open it and see everyone awake my girlfriend immediately runs into my arms crying

"Baby what happened " I said while rubbing her back

" you were gone when I woke up and when your dad said you went to go run I got scared," she said sniffing

"Baby I am fine I watched out I was safe I had my katana with me I didn't see any sick people when I went out I'm fine," I say with a smile while rubbing her back

She nodded and hugged me one more time then got hold of herself I then went into the backyard and passed Daniel and Chris and Daniel was teaching him about the shotgun I was once again by Daniel thanking me about healing his wife I just nodded and passed him. I made it to the backyard and instantly stretched again and started doing my push-ups once I got to 100 I stopped and did my sit-ups and crunches once I was done with that I found a stable place to do my pull-ups and once I was done full workout I go back inside and see everyone is getting ready to leave. I went up to my girlfriend's room put on my holsters and put my guns into them then I grabbed my other katana and put it behind me with my katana holster I also put on my knife holster and put my knife in. I grab my backpack and my infinite duffel bag and go downstairs I still have my car shrunk Down and it is still on my necklace. I then head downstairs to my dad's car and put my backpack and infinite duffel in the back. Once I had done that I went back into the house to make sure I didn't forget anything once I realized I had everything I went to my girlfriend and wrapped my arms around her waist

" I can now tell you what has been going on since it started, " I say as I put my head on her shoulder

"Really? I would like to know and not be scared all the time " she says as she leans into my embrace

" yeah it's a virus going around you have to die then you come back a monster that eats you, you have to get bitten or scratched to turn I call them walkers or zombies but don't worry you know I will protect you and I will help you learn how to use what I use a katana a bow and a gun when I have to " I whisper

" oh so like zombies like those zombie games you played " she asked

" yeah just like that headshot to kill them or stab them in the head," I said

" I would like you to train me to use the weapons I choose and how to fight please " she requested

" of course my love I will, " I said as I kissed her head

She then walked to her mom's car while doing the same with my dad. We then start following my girlfriend when her husband comes I see Maddison get out of the car and start running towards him calling out to him I then put my hand up to stop my dad he stops the car I then turn to look at him and nodded letting him know that this when the military come so get out your tags because when he left the military he was the most feared person in the military so I asked if he can get his tags on. Soon the military came dad drives back to Maddison's and gets out I do as well I walk over to my girlfriend checking on her she told me she was fine  I kissed her head and said good then the military is asking who is staying in her house full names she then gave them everyone that is staying.
