After finishing the meal, the babysitter came over and knocked on the door. An Yeran picked up the plate, walked to the door and opened it: "You came just in time."

As she said this, she placed the dinner plate in the nanny's hand and said, "Go wash it."

The nanny forced a smile on her face: "No, Second Miss, it was Madam who asked me to call the young master down."

"Call Lu Xiu?" An Yeran wiped his mouth. "Why call him? He has to do his homework, how can he have time to go down?"

The nanny said, "Second Miss, stop joking. Madam just asked for leave for the young master yesterday. How could he have homework?"

Ask for leave?

An Yeran frowned slightly.

She thought about it carefully, and it seemed that there was indeed such a passage in the original book.

Jiang Li asked for leave for Lu Xiu the day after his father died, and then locked him up in the basement. Occasionally, the nanny would let him out to clean the house or do the housework that Jiang Li had given her. Jiang Li let Lu Xiu go back to school after she had dealt with the handover of the company.

When they got to school, the boys knew about the changes in Lu Xiu's family, and with Jiang Anxue's deliberate isolation, they bullied him even more unscrupulously. The girls wanted to protect him, but every time they did, the boys would bully him even more severely.

As time went by, Lu Xiu became more and more taciturn and basically stopped talking to anyone at school.

"What does my mother want to see Lu Xiu for? If you don't tell me, I won't let him go down." An Yeran leaned against the door, looking like a rogue.

The nanny suppressed her anger and forced herself to slow down her voice, "Madam called him, I don't know."

An Yeran said, "Oh, then go back and tell my mother that he is not available." After she said that, she slammed the door shut.

The nanny outside the door was so angry that her face was ferocious. She didn't dare to do anything to An Yeran, so she could only take the tray back and tell Jiang Li.

An Yeran turned around and saw Lu Zhengxing standing behind her, his brown eyes staring at her quietly. The boy's eyes seemed to have a kind of magic that made people intoxicated after just one glance.

"What's wrong?" An Yeran asked, "Have you finished my homework?"

A smile appeared on Lu Xiu's delicate little face: "Not yet, but, second sister, auntie called me."

The boy looked very well-behaved and seemed to be very obedient. An Yeran raised his eyebrows, walked up to him, and pinched his little face with his hand: "Don't you know what she meant by calling you? Lu Xiu, you are already eight years old. I think you can tell whether it is good or bad."

As An Yeran spoke, she let go of the boy's little face. Her fingertips still felt the smooth and delicate skin, which was very elastic. She wanted to pinch it again, but held back.

The boy stood there in a daze when she pinched his face.

An Yeran had never done anything like this to him in the previous times.

The girl lay back on the bed and unplugged the charger. Her phone was charged to about 40 percent, enough for her to play a few more games.

Lu Xiu stood there for a while, and when he realized that the girl was already immersed in the game and no longer talking to him, he slowly returned to the desk.

There were second grade primary school exercises on the table. He did not pick up the pen immediately, but flipped through them.

The exercise book was filled with beautiful small characters that looked very familiar. He had been writing for four lifetimes, so there was no way he couldn't recognize his own handwriting.

The boy's eyes darkened.

Before my rebirth, I was always helping An Yeran with his homework.

Moreover, they do it very seriously, as if they are treating some treasure.
