(The sun shone brightly over the sprawling college campus, marking the start of a new academic year. Freshman students buzzed with excitement and nerves, carrying maps, schedules, and hopeful smiles. Among them were Avika and Shrivi, two young women who had been assigned as roommates in the dorm.)
**Avika:**
"Can you believe it, Shrivi? Our first day of college! This is going to be amazing."
**Shrivi:**
"I know, right? I'm a bit nervous, though. I hope we find our classes okay."
They spent the morning navigating the maze-like corridors, attending orientation sessions, and getting to know the campus. By lunchtime, they were already exhausted but exhilarated by the possibilities ahead.
**Avika:**
"Let's grab something to eat. The cafeteria should be around here somewhere."
**Shrivi:**
"Good idea. I’m starving."
As they made their way to the cafeteria, they bumped into two boys who seemed just as lost as they were. One was tall with a friendly smile, and the other had an easygoing charm.
**Luv:**
"Hey there! Do you know where the cafeteria is?"
**Avika:**
"Actually, we're looking for it too. Why don't we all search together?"
**Arnav:**
"Sounds like a plan. I'm Arnav, and this is Luv."
**Shrivi:**
"Nice to meet you both. I’m Shrivi, and this is Avika."
The four of them quickly fell into an easy camaraderie, sharing laughs and stories as they explored the campus. By the time they found the cafeteria, they felt like old friends.
**Luv:**
"So, what are you guys majoring in?"
**Avika:**
"I'm in the psychology program. I find the human mind fascinating."
**Shrivi:**
"And I'm studying literature. I love diving into different worlds through books."
**Arnav:**
"That’s cool. I’m in computer science, and Luv here is a business major."
They spent the rest of the afternoon together, enjoying each other’s company and talking about their hopes and dreams. It was the perfect start to their college journey.
